This place is only steps from the beach. The apartment is spacious and comfortable with everything you’ll need for a great beachside holiday. Good kitchen and outdoor dining area is fantastic. You can lounge in the lovely garden also. Our host was very accommodating and helpful. The beach itself has numerous sunlounges and umbrellas you can rent for the day for around 6-7 Euro. There are a number of good restaurants on the beach and it’s a 20-30 minute drive to the heart of Heraklion.
