The place has everything you need while you are on holiday.
Fully equipped kitchen, wi fi, bbq, swimming pool, excellent view, 10 mins from town. definately recommended all day long.
I really like the barbeque and the tavern where we enjoyed cooking and having a drink. Using swimming pool and barbeque all included in the price as well.

This place was amazing from the time we arrived until the time we checked out !!! Great hospitality also great experience..! Amazing view very comfortable apartments ……Until next time !! See you soon..!

Super Aufenthalt sehr saubere Zimmer mit superblick auf die grünen Bergen , man kann es nur weiter raten ,wir waren beruflich unterwegs der Pool und das Jacuzzi hat uns sehr gut getan zum entspannen . Ein Dankeschön an die Inhaber

gute Lage in der Nähe von Shop, Restaurant und Strand. Modernes Ambiente aber das Bad ist sehr klein und älter. Küche ist sehr einfach ausgestattet die Vermieterfamilie lebt nebenann.

Mi novia y yo pasamos dos noches geniales en casa de Giorgos. Keratokampos es perfecto para relajarse, disfrutar de la playa y buena comida tradicional como el imam o el patitsio. Pudimos aparcar el coche justo en frente del apartamento. La descripción y fotos coinciden perfectamente. Fueron dos noches calurosas pero con el aire acondicionado pudimos dormir muy a gusto. Agradecemos el buen trato de Giorgos y su encantadora familia, que nos ayudaron en todo y nos proporcionaron flexibilidad. Lo recomendamos 100%!

Vaso and Giorgos are realy very fendly and open host, helpfull for everything you may need. The location is good, peacefull and not far from wonderfull beaches. Great place for staying in the southern part of the island.

Nice appartment

The apartment is very clean, spacious and well equipped.
It is very comfortable and perfect for up to 4 people (one double bed and 2 single beds).
Apartment offers front terrace heading garden with trees, flowers and shower!
The garden is not big, but very nice and provides shade and sitting, it is shared with 4 equivalent apartments.
There is also possibility to sit in the back part of apartment in shade of the house facing next gardens(clothesline dedicated for every apartment is available here).
The locality is absolutely fantastic (but requires rented car) – there are small beaches available directly in the village (2mins walk) or looong and empty beaches nearby (almost no tourists in mid of September).
A lot of taverns is directly reachable as well (2-10 mins of walk).

Heraklion as well as other interesting places (Gortina, Faistos, Knossos) are 1 hour of driving far from apartment, but really worth to visit.

Elia was the perfect near the beach apartment for us! It was comfortable enough for the four of us! We found everything we needed in the house and great assistance from our host George and his family regarding directions and trips around! The place around the house gives you the exact image of the Cretan nature! Keratokampos is a lovely south place in Crete ideal for relaxing vacation! You can start beautiful daily trips as there are many worth seeing destinations around! Do not forget to visit ’’Listis beach’’ despite it’s strange approach!

The perfect house for short or long term vacation! It’s the second time we visit Elia apartment as we found the house itself and the region ideal for our holiday preferences! We think that a very well organized apartment, with every amenity you may need, as if you were in your own house, a convenient region regarding shopping, going out on tavernas and organizing daily excursion to near destinations, walking distance to the beach and the best hosts (kind and helpful), are the things that make this apartment our first choice when visiting south Crete! We had a great stay at the villa. We were a huge family descending on rhythymos for a wedding and this apartment gave us the greatest base. They even set up the bridal suite with rose petals to welcome the couple. They were very thoughtful with a contact that came every day to check we had no issues. Katerina was so patient also helping us find restaurants etc to feed the whole party outside of the wedding day. The facilities were great and also child friendly. I would recommend a stay at this villa.

Villa was impeccably clean with great facilities. The view all day is incredible but at sunset it is something else. Katerina was very helpful and did her best to make our stay perfect… thank you
A 15 min drive from Rethymno so you will need a car to make the most of the surrounding area. Some great restaurants, mini market, pharmacy etc all within a 5 minute drive.
Would certainly recommend to anyone planning a trip to rethymno and may well book again for a family get together in the future!

This place is the jewel of the Ligurian beach. We had a wonderful family holiday for a week and loved every moment of it. It’s amazing that you can just walk outside your building and be on the beach! Next door is a great cafe: morning coffee, smoothies and drinks all day and on the other side is a dive center where you can dive for free or rent kayaks… the location is perfect for everyone. Very typical Cretan restaurants along the beach. The host offered us fruits and snacks and was so generous and kind. Definitely a great place to stay! Highly recommended!

The appart is very clean and bright and it’s provided with everything for comfortable life. The kitchen is equipped enought to cook. Towels and bed linen were changed every 3 day’s. Beautiful beaches of Kastri are very close to the apartment (3-10 minutes on foot). Gabi and her parents are friendly and kind people! Gabi is very helpful and attentive host. She was ready to answer all our questions. Kastri is a small, cozy village, but you can find everything you need: taverns, cafes, supermarkets, fish shop with extremely fresh fish.
Also there is a lovely, calm garden in the courtyard of the apartment where you can read book or just relax in the shadow.
I highly recommend to stay in this appart!

We are a family from Denmark with 2 children aged 10 & 18 and 2 adults. I can say that the apartment looks even better in reality. The balcony is huge, it’s so nice to sit there and enjoy the sea. There is literally like 30 meters from the beach, which is really beautiful with the clearest waters. Most of the people on the beach are Greek, which means they are very friendly to foreigners, funny, helpful and relaxed. There are some good restaurants, I would strongly suggest renting a car. Ask Andreas to rent the space much easier through this and the local support is even better. Best regards, Lars

We had a great time in the apartment…and we are very grateful for the above average good care from Andrea…a very, very good person…always careful that we feel comfortable and all the questions and wishes we had were answered or were carried out. Mrs. Diamanti is warmth and hospitality in person…she has continuously given us many delicious Greek delicacies and made us feel comfortable! Also, their own sunbeds and umbrella on the beach were great! We highly recommend Andreas and this apartment!!!

The apartment is very nice, right on the beach. Everything is close – supermarket, restaurant … Andreas is very kind and helpful – arranged another apartment and a rental car at a good price. We had great relaxation and comfort with the family in Lygaria. Thank you for your lovely holiday

Lovely garden setting less than three minute walk to the beaches, lovely seaside tavernas, markets, etc. the village is quiet and very traditional. House vey stylish and comfortable. Hosts very hospitable and fun.

Our family had a wonderful vacation at the sea. Good, neat apartment where we were comfortable. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming.

This apartment is excellent with a wonderful view of the Mediterranean. The large balcony was perfect for our morning coffee and evening meals. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. Everything was as described and the place is very clean. Lygaria is a small and charming village with cafes, taverns and mini markets. We would recommend this apartment. Special mention to Andrea who is a kind and generous host. He made the process – from booking to departure – simple and efficient. A small negative point is the music that plays from 10am. to midnight daily at the neighboring bar. Sometimes the incessant noise of the base disturbed the tranquility of the bay

Andreas is an excellent host. Good communication and even met us at the airport. We loved the view and the close proximity to the beach. Great afternoons on the balcony. We will be happy to return.

What a beautiful space. I could sit on this balcony forever! The beach was great, the apartment just perfect and the welcome basket with fruit and other goodies was just a lovely touch. We had an amazing stay at Villa Zeus. We rented the whole house for a week. The agend (Katerian) is absolutly amazing. Very very helpful and 24/7 responsive. The house is awesome has everything that you need for a relaxed vacation.

Beautiful villa and a fantastic owner… couldn’t have asked for more. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Impeccably clean, superb views (especially sunset) and perfect facilities. Would stay again and recommend whole heartedly. You’ll need a car but it’s only a 15 min drive to rethymno. Some great local restaurants and a mini market, pharmacy etc all within 5 mins drive. Superb!

Fourteen of us have spent a week in Villa Zeus and we had the best time! The house is great, the pool and garden are amazing and Katerina was very nice! The highlight was the view from the house, as you can see the mountains and the sea.

We are very satisfied with our stay at Diamanti. They are incredibly friendly and nice. We will be back. They are very beautiful and the beach is wonderful. The most popular proposals here!

We have just returned from our Daughter’s and Son- in- Laws wedding which was hosted at Villa Zeus and was perfect in every way. We hired the whole villa and could not be happier with the experience that we had. The place is spotless and the facilities are superb- from the beautiful pool to the covered bar and taverna area which was the perfect shaded spot to relax and eat. The food was prepared by the owner’s chefs and was plentiful and absolutely superb and all drinks were supplied at an extremely reasonable cost. All staff were simply delightful, especially Katerina the owner who could not do enough for us. As an experienced wedding planner, she was able to suggest and supply special little touches which made the wedding even more special. From sourcing the perfect wedding cake to recommending a superb professional photographer and a talented hairdresser, Katerina could not have made us more welcome and certainly could not have made the whole wedding experience more perfect for the bride, groom and their guests. We would highly recommend this venue for the perfect holiday and indeed for the perfect wedding experience abroad and cannot believe how reasonably priced the whole wedding package was, how generous our Greek hosts were and how personalized and special they made everything feel Fabulous memories to treasure always !!! Villa Zeus was our beautiful wedding venue, and we stayed for 4 days with our close family and friends. It was the perfect setting, and one we cannot wait to return to. Katerina and her team made everything special for us, and we’re so grateful to them for being a part of our day.

We had a stay at Diamantis place. Being directly on the beach was a real treat. The apartment was very spacious and well designed. The hosts were very nice, helping us all the time and allowing us to check out very late. Thank you for hosting us!!

A group of 13 of us stayed at Villa Ourania for a week and had the most amazing time! All the facilities were super clean and there were ample cleaning supplies provided to ensure we could keep it this way. Maria and her family were perfect hosts, super helpful and really quick to reply with any questions we had and gave us plenty of recommendations of things to do and places to go whilst we were there. Beautiful area, but would definitely recommend getting a car to get around.

Very personal and good service on site, everything you need was there and we really liked the host family. Our towels were changed regularly. We were provided with good tips. We particularly liked the place, mainly the locals come here, especially at the weekend, but we were received very friendly and well served in all the taverns in the place.

The house, which had 5 seperate apartments with all amenities included, was beautiful and overlooking large part of the island.

We were a group of 20 young adults and had an amazing time at Villa Ourania! The view was incredible, and that‘s the reason for a quite long walk from the beach to the villa, but it was worth it. With a car it must be perfect. We truly recommend it to a big group of people, you will not regret your stay at all.

The house is very big, enough space if you are with large groups. The outside area couldn’t be better!

Highly recommended. The apartment is located in a small bay with ultra calm and clean waters. No large hotels, no noisy motorsports will make you truly relax. The apartment that we stayed in was located on the second floor of the front row building. Ample of space for 4 persons, extensive equipment and above all a great terrace with wide sea view. You will have a few charming and inexpensive tavernas and bars within walking distance. We had a great time there and would come back any time. Local community was welcoming and making our stay memorable. Given it is just 25 minutes away from Heraklion airport/ferry, search no more, book it with confidence

We had a lovely stay in the apartment – the location is perfect, right on the beach front and stunning views from the 2nd floor balcony. Plenty of nice restaurants and a small supermarket with all the essentials very close by. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with lovely decor – aircon was very much appreciated in the July heat. There was some lovely welcome treats left for us and communication with Nikos was friendly and fast. Would highly recommend!

Excellent location of the house in relation to the beach. The villa stands on the very shore, to go to the beach, you just need to cross a small lawn in front of the house and that’s it – you are on the beach. I really liked the presence of this very lawn, on which 2-3 small and one tall palm trees grow and there are free sunbeds (on the beach 2 sunbeds with a fungus cost 7 euros per day). In the shade of these palm trees, you can relax on sunbeds, or you can sunbathe in the sun. Another plus is that there is a shower on the lawn, so if you sunbathe near the house, when you leave the sea, you can use it, and not a shower on the beach. I really liked the attitude of the host to the guests. We never saw her herself, but any requests and problems that arose were resolved very quickly thanks to correspondence in Whatsapp.

We love the apartment! Perfect location that allowed us to relax and enjoy our stay! Lygaria beach is such a hidden gem! The locals were all friendly and we enjoyed our time there! Nikos communicated to us in a timely manner and answered our questions! We love our stay that we already recommended it to our friends and family! We will for sure come back! Thank you for being such a great host! The basket full of fruit, Raki and water bottle in the fridge was a very nice welcome especially when we’ve been traveling all day! Also love that nice size beach towels ready for us to use! Again, thank you!

We were travelling with our 3 year old daughter. The apartment is absolutely amazing. The view from the terrace is wonderful and the bay where it is located is very calm with very calm water. it’s amazing to wake up so close to the sea. the beach and the water are very clean with taverns to grab a snack or go for dinner. the apartment itself is very spacious and clean with good air condition in the bedrooms. the host was responding very quick and helped us out with information very quick. all in all it was a great experience for us!

As a family we have recently stayed at Villa located in lygaria near the city of Heraklion and didn’t want to return home. Everything about it from the owners, location and attention to detail when furnishing the villa was second to none. The beach was only 5 mins by car. Kids loved the pool! We were greeted by Maria , she was friendly and professional. fabulous holiday! Totally we will visit again!

This is a friendly family run business and you enjoying your stay is of the most importance to them.  Relax and unwind by the pool or the beach is just a five minute car journey away.

We loved Villa Zeus, we are a big family and everybody had their space and privacy at the same time that we were all together, the view is beautiful, every sunset picture perfect, quiet, private with all the necessary amenities, wi-fi worked perfectly for those that still needed to be connected to work, the hosts are wonderful giving warm people, willing to do everything to make our stay the best possible, it was easy to reach them and received replies within minutes, their help in organizing our trip was invaluable. we had an amazing time !

You cannot get a better location than this – literally on the beach, but you have your own territory. One thing to note: it’s a pebble beach and there are big stones as you enter the sea but you can buy special swimming slippers in a local shop 2min away from the apartment. The shop has everything you may need: basic groceries, fruits, drinks, ice cream, souvenirs, kids toys and even swimsuits. So, we had breakfasts mainly at our place. Next door you can get coffee and take away fresh orange juice for €3 – fantastic! I was worried about places to eat, but Sirocco and Anatolē were absolutely amazing for traditional food – we went to Santorini after Crete, and no restaurants could beat theirs. Also, great omlette for breakfast at ‘Ligaria restaurant’ – big portions and gorgeous view. We also went to ‘Mythos’ on Agia Pelagia beach and it was great. The restaurant was, but the place/beach despite being sandy seemed much more crowded and less pretty than Ligaria. So we were triple glad we stayed at Nikos’s place in the beautiful Ligaria. The apartment itself was wonderful – everything we needed, and the terrace that has direct gate to the garden and beach – truly fantastic. Also, we had a 3 year old with us, and were so lucky there were toys for her and even a mini playground with a slide and swings. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone.

Lovely apartment, right on the beach. Appartment was , well set up and very clean, just as the photos show. ie lovely view and sitting out area. We had a small problem which Nikos was sorted immediately, which for me is good sign. He was very helpful when we needed advice Lygaria is lovely, very pretty village by the sea where we felt very safe and welcomed (as usual when you come to Crete) .3 or 4 restaurants with a small Supermarket. . Would recommend

Wir waren insgesamt 20 und haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen. Das Haus ist perfekt um die Seele baumeln zu lassen, Party zu machen oder Tagesausflüge zu unternehmen. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet, für 20 Leute könnte es allerdings etwas mehr Geschirr geben. Ansonsten war alles wunderbar. Gerne wieder :))

Super apartment!

We had an amazing week with our Erasmus group at Villa Ourania! The house is beautiful with an extra side house with more rooms, an extra kitchen and a nice barbeque area. The pool was very refreshing and the view from the back yard was absolutley beautiful. I highly recommend a stay here.

I rented this Villa with 19 friends during my Erasmus stay in Heraklion. We had an amazing time, the Villa is huge and has everything you need from a pizza oven to a pool. There was even a second House behind the Villa with more bedrooms and an additional Kitchen. Also there is alot of Olive Trees around the house itself on the property which gives an additional touch to it. The landlady was super friendly and helped us with all our needs. Last but not least the view from the Villa is really special. I can recommend this Villa for everybody!

We are a group or 27 people who came in Crete for a dance seminar for one week on early August. We decided to book Villa Ourania and we didn’t regretted it at all! The villa is amazing with the most breath taking views!! Even we were a big group, the inside and outside spaces are extremely comfortable! The hosts were amazing and they helped us with all the arrangements before our arrival and during our stay!
The villa is very close to facilities, yet offers total privacy!
We had the best holidays ever and can’t wait to come again!

Ήμασταν 3 οικογένειες με 5 παιδιά… Ευχάριστη έκπληξη ήταν ένα ξεχωριστό παράρτημα δίπλα στη βίλα όπου επέλεξαν τα μεγαλύτερα παιδιά μας για να κοιμηθούν και να έχουν το δικό τους χώρο!!! Our stay at Villa Ourania was wonderful!
The villa was very clean and spacious. We came as a group of 18 and had a very comfortable stay. The view is extrodinary! The owner replied to all our questions and requests in due time and made sure we had all we needed. I recommend this place greatly.

We spent a week at Villa Ourania as a family group of 13 including children. The villa is amazing. The view from the pool area is breathtaking and we spent many evenings watching the sunset. The villa is well equipped with many different eating areas to dine. Maria the owner was extremely attentive for any queries we had. We pre booked the private chef one evening who cooked a traditional Cretan meal for us. We would thoroughly recommend this – outstanding value and delicious food. Είναι η δεύτερη φορά που ερχόμαστε και ομολογω ότι λόγω ολικής ανακαίνισης η βίλα έχει αναβαθμιστεί πληρώντας πολύ υψηλές προδιαγραφές. Κάτι όμως που παραμένει το ίδιο αξέχαστο και ασύγκριτο με οπουδήποτε έχουμε πάει είναι το ηλιοβασίλεμα. Όλα είναι καινούργια, ο χώρος είναι μεγάλος με όλες τις ανέσεις, εργονομικός πολύ προσεγμένος και καθαρός. Η Μαρία πάντα φιλική ως οικοδεσπότης και με άμεση άνταπόκριση σε ότι χρειαστήκαμε. Τη συστήνω σε όλους και σίγουρα θα ξαναβρεθούμε εκεί. Συγχαρητήρια για την εξέλιξη!!!!!

Απίστευτο μέρος η άνθρωποι είναι τέλειοι!! Φιλοξενία απίστευτη μπάρμπεκιου χαβαλες κρασί τσικουδιά θάλασσα έχει να πας να τρέξεις διαδρομές φαγητά τέλεια!! Πολύ φτηνά και προσιτά παντού!! Και φυσικά πανέμορφο μέρος!!! Τα είπα όλα νομίζω!! Έχει γίνει το στέκι μας πλέον !!!

Πολύ κοντά (με τα πόδια) μπορείτε να βρείτε σούπερ μάρκετ,ταβέρνες με ωραίο φαγητό. Η θάλασσα είναι ακριβώς από κάτω (ένα λεπτό με τα πόδια).Υπάρχουν και άλλες όμορφες παραλίες όμως που μπορείς να επισκεφτείς εκεί κοντά.
Έχει χώρο στάθμευσης και ένα όμορφο και περιποιημένο κήπο. Τα δωμάτια είναι καθαρά, άνετα και καλά εξοπλισμένα για να μαγειρέψεις αν το επιθυμείς! Ιδανικό για οικογένειες με παιδιά,παρέες αλλά και για ζευγάρια! Πολλοί φιλικοί και θετικοί οικοδεσπότες! Έχουν κάνει πολύ καλή δουλειά! Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα!!

Such a perfect location, deck overlooking a perfect turquoise Mediterranean cove and the expansive sea beyond. It was a wonderful stay, we had a blast

We really enjoyed staying at Nikolaos apartment. It was ideal for our family of 4, and we enjoyed being on the beautiful beach, as well as the jacuzzi on the deck. The only issue was that all the charming beach tavernas weren’t open yet, just one on Sunday night. They were all being prepared for opening Easter weekend. The little grocery store was open and very handy.

The place was right by the beach and had an amazing view. When we arrived there was cookies waiting for us. The host was super attentive to our needs and we were only a half an hour drive from Heraklion.

We had a lovely stay here in Lygaria. The location was perfect for spending time on the beach, and there are a number of places to eat with stunning views nearby. A perfect stay!

EIN UNVERGESSENES ERLEBNIS! Zunächst möchten sich 15 überglückliche Kurzurlauber (Aufenthalt 5 Tage) auch auf diesen Weg unserer Gastgeberin Maria herzlichst für diesen einmaligen Urlaub in ihrer wunderschönen Villa bedanken. Maria ist eine herzliche und professionelle Gastgeberin, die uns jederzeit für Fragen und vor allem auch für Anregungen zur Seite stand. Hier ein paar Details: LAGE (Entfernung): Die Villa befindet sich ca. 20 Minuten und 20 Kilometer vom Flughafen Heraklion und auch von der Innenstadt entfernt. Das ist wirklich optimal, da wir a) schnell vor Ort waren und zwischendurch auch mal in die Stadt gefahren sind. Maria hat hierzu sehr gute Tipps und Vorschläge für Tanz, Gastronomie und Shopping. Auch wenn der Abschied schwer fällt … der Flughafen ist dann auch kurz und schmerzlos in 20 Minuten erreichbar. Ein Taxi zur Villa kostet ca. 30 – 35 Euro. Einen Mietwagen findet man bereits ab 20€ am Tag direkt am Flughafen. LAGE (Erlebnis): Es ist wirklich magisch. Die Fotos können den Ausblick und das Panorama vor Ort kaum beschreiben. Wer schon einmal auf Santorin war, hat möglicherweise eine Idee, was ich damit beschreiben möchte. Es gibt möglicherweise keine bessere Stelle auf diesem Inselabschnitt, um eine Villa zu bauen. Den Strand kann man von der Villa aus sehen und befindet sich ca. 5 Minuten (Auto) entfernt und kann auch fußläufig in ca. 15 Minuten erreicht werden (Agia Pelagia und Ligaria). In Agia Pelagia gibt es direkt ab Strand mehrere Restaurants, von denen die meisten Fischtavernen sind (frisch gefangener Fisch. Wir haben uns zwei Mal für das Restaurant “Alchimist” entschieden, da er viele kretanische Köstlichkeiten auf Tapas Art serviert. In Ligaria gibt es nur 2 – 3 Restaurants, die sich direkt am Strand befinden. Dafür gibt es hier einen wunderschönen Strand mit vielen Liegen und einem tollen Ausblick. AUSSTATTUNG HAUS: Es ist alles da! Eine moderne große Küche und mehrere Bäder auf jeder Etage. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und modern eingerichtet. Ein sehr großes Wohnzimmer und eine wunderschöne Hauptterrasse war für uns der Mittelpunkt des Geschehens, wir haben hier gegessen, getrunken und unserer Lieblingslieder über die große Bluetooth Anlage angehört. Es gibt auch noch weitere Terrassen auf den oberen Etagen und im Untergeschoss. Darüber hinaus gibt es noch ein Nebengebäude mit zwei weiteren Doppelzimmer und einer eigenen Küche. Dort befindet sich auch eine aufwendig aus Stein gebaute “Feuerstelle” (Grill und Steinofen). ZIMMER: Wenn ich es richtig gezählt habe, gibt es insgesamt 10 Doppel- und ein Einzelzimmer mit gleicher Ausstattung. Besonders hervorzugeben ist das große Zimmer im Untergeschoss, mit einer eigenen Terrasse und direktem Zugang zum Pool. Ich könnte noch viel zur Villa Ourania schreiben. Ich fasse es aber so zusammen: Man muss es vor Ort erleben, um meine Begeisterung nachvollziehen zu können!

This is a really good apartment, in an incredible location on the beach. The apartment is really smart, spacious, well-equipped and comfortable. One of the best things is the beautiful front garden, really spacious, where you can have privacy but right on the beach. And great being here in May when this delightful small resort is just coming alive. Only 30 mins from Heraklion airport. Great food from Babis and his family at Sirocco almost next door!

What can I say. This is an amazing villa with excellent facilities. The villa has everything you need and is fully equipped. On top of it offers an amazing view. Location: The villa is 20min away from Heraklion. Host The host is super kind and puts great effort into hospitality. Maria and her team were ready to support us anytime. The place has a beautiful view and easy access to the beach. The hot tub after some of our folks went scuba diving was very appreciated. The shower could use some attention, it leaks into the bathroom.

The views from this apartment are unparalleled. It was the best apartment that we stayed in of 5 on this trip, largely because of the lovely terrace, garden and the fact that you step out of the gate, take 3 steps and are on the beach. All the amenities are provided and the apartment is quiet, cool and comfortable. Hard recommend.

A wonderful and attentive exterior with extremely hospitable owners! Our room, being new, we found it amazing, very bright, minimalist and modern with a wonderful view! Perfect location… and in many other ways too. I don’t think you could find a better location in Ligaria – this apartment is pretty much right in the middle of the beautiful bay, open the gate and you’re on the beach. There’s a nice selection of restaurants along the front, all really friendly with great food. The sea is stunning and clear and its worth a walk up the rock on the left (as you look at the sea) where the Greek flag is flying – its the best spot to watch the sunrise and doesn’t take long to get there at all (even though it looks far when you’re lying on the beach!). The jacuzzi is such a lovely bonus – and although we didn’t eat in there was everything you needed. The snacks and fruit on arrival were a lovely touch and much appreciated. Everything was clean and comfortable, couldn’t fault it. Am sure will be back! If you’re looking to stay in a lovely party of this island with crystal clear waters then don’t hesitate to stay here, would be surprised if you could find better. Oh, and the communication was second to none, really helpful at all times.

This is an excellent location top notch accommodation. Big beds big views, ten feet from the beach, quite at night and restaurants on both sides of the home. A small but very well stocked market store is 5 min walk along the sea trail.

Incredible location in the heart of the beach front area of Ligaria. Wonderful spot literally on the beach and adjacent to all restaurants. Just was exceptional and offered welcoming items and was very good communicator.

Die Lage war hervorragend, direkt am Strand. Auch der Vorgarten war toll zum Sonnenbaden und fürs Yoga im Freien. Die Terasse war wunderbar, besonders zum Frühstück morgens, weil sie dann Sonne hatte.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Das White Apartment mit eigenem Whrilpool und Garten war ein Traum und die Lage ist Optimal. Die Kommunikation mit unserem Gastgeber war reibungslos.

We really enjoyed our stay on the beach. This apartment is steps from the beach, but still feels private. The view from the living room and balcony cannot be beat. It was very easy to sink into a relaxing vacation because the couches were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. The only downside is the bad pop music from the cafe next door (10am to midnight) that interrupted the sound of the waves.

Counting the days to come back to this magical beach stay. It’s a great apartment, everything you need for a beach stay, and you’re literally on the beach as you step out of the flat. The owners were lovely and helpful and the attached caffe wad perfect smoothies and cocktails. There’s a few restaurants around this small beautiful cove, all are nice with lovely owners, and have good relaxed vibes. Bring water footwear at there’s a big rock as you enter the water, but the water is absolutely clear it’s amazing! there’s a little supermarket on the beach so if you need to buy some basic food, souvenirs, or beach and scuba props it’s easy. Such a pearl. We’re coming back for sure.

Very clean, new and high quality apartment on the first floor of the building. Big balcony. Best place to stay in Kastri. Check in and check out was easy without any problems. We would definetely stay again at Marias place.

16 of us stayed at Villa Ourania for just under a week and this was the best holiday we’ve ever been on! I don’t think I’ll ever have a better host than Maria! From the facilities to the hospitality everything was perfect. Maria provided us with a list of excursions and activities we could do before we arrived and also helped us sort out transport to and from the villa. I can’t recommend this place enough, the pictures do not do this villa justice! It’s honestly so beautiful and the surrounding areas also add to that. If you’re on the fence and deciding whether or not to book this villa, this is your sign to do it! I promise you won’t regret it!

Maria was a great host. The way she has everything so organized was amazing. We all loved the big comfy home and the beautiful view from the backyard. They house was very clean and neat. The kids loved the toys area and swimming pool. We did not want to leave.

We were an extended family of eighteen with three generations ages 9months to 72 years and all had a fabulous time. Maria was an excellent host responding quickly to any questions or requests. The villa had amazing views and spectacular sunsets and sunrises. Everyone enjoyed the pool and the surrounding grass made a great play area for the younger members. It was not too far to the local beaches and bars, although we used a car, bit far to walk with children and hot sun. We self catered for the majority of the holiday and found a lovely shop in Agia Pelagia for all our needs and they were so helpful. Heraklion airport was easily accessible by taxi, transfer and car – only about 20 minutes. All in all a superb holiday in an amazing place.

Love our stay there. It was the relaxing part of our vacation in Greece. It was great to be close to everything while having the privacy of the balcony if needed. Only small negatives were that the kitchen should be better furnished (glasses mainly) and the shower.

Highly recommend this beautiful apartment to anyone visiting Crete. Very accommodating to travelers and well kept and clean. The location couldn’t be better – steps away from the beach. And there are lots of restaurants and even a small market within walking distance. Would stay there again and recommend to friends!

L’appartement de Nikos est extraordinaire avec une vue depuis la terrasse ou le séjour à couper le souffle. Les photos sont conformes et vous n’avez qu’à pousser le portillon du jardin pour vous trouver sur la plage. Très bon resto et cocktails à emporter juste à côté.

Unterkunft und Lage waren sehr schön und entsprachen den Fotos. Als wir nach einem Austausch der Frottier- wäsche fragten, wurde dies umgehend gemacht.

Muy recomendable el departamento. La vista es espectacular, está totalmente equipado, el jacuzzi en la terraza es un plus. La playa de enfrente es muy tranquila, hay varios restaurantes y un supermercado cerca. Nikos fue muy amable en todo momento y respondió rápidamente a nuestras consultas.

Era tutto molto in ordine e molto pulito. Lo spazio all’aperto con la jacuzzi e il barbecue era molto curato, c’era un prato comune sul davanti con vista mare e accesso diretto alla spiaggia.

The apartment has a great location, right next to the beach. If you want to stay in the shade during the day, you can stay on the patio, enjoy the view and go dip in the sea any time you want. If you want to enjoy the sun – no problem either, you can use one of the sun beds in the private garden. The apartment was clean and well furnished, we truly enjoyed our stay there and would come back again. While I was traveling with friends, it would also be great for families with kids.

Great place to stay and perfect access to the beach. Lots of good restaurants nearby and we had a wonderful time. Really good communication with the host. Strongly recommended.

A magical place! The flat is spacious, very clean and well furnished. Beds and towels are of good quality. You will find everything you need and waking up in the morning with this magical view has been an every day dream. Coming from France, the AC in all the rooms made a huge difference and allowed perfect nights. The location is absolutely unique, a few meters from the sea with a very well maintained private garden, nice sun beds, and sweet birds flying from the trees in the morning and in the evening. Early morning baths were perfect. The beach is clean and looked after. Recommended restaurants are very good. Nikos is an unbelievable host, warm hearted and always available, he provides a very quick and efficient assistance, recommendations and help if needed, on top of being very welcoming and caring. Thank you for all this Nikos!

Highly recommend this property. It was perfect for the family stay with the teenagers have their own space. Great outdoor kitchen with pizza oven which led to pizza competitions. It is isolated although the nearby villagers have good restaurants. Maria was so helpful arranging transfers and horse riding, she was great!

The brand new airbnb was wonderful and had everything needed. Everything is according to the pictures. We were totally happy and would definitely recommand this appartement. Amazing location right on beach – just a few steps from the door to the water. Lovely clean beach with sunbeds and umbrellas (€7 a set). Very spacious and clean. Very responsive host. Easy drive from Heraklion airport. Handy distance to Knossos and Heraklion museum. A few restaurants within a 2 minute walk from the door. We parked at the free carpark at the end of the beach and walked along the seafront to the apartment – only about 200m so very easy and less stressful than in the narrow streets.

This Air BnB in Ligaria is gorgeous. I appreciated all of the little touches and amenities that awaited us—including fruit and Cretan raki. The location is incomparable, located just on the beach, with a series of tasty and affordable tavernas within walking distance.

Die Unterkunft ist an einer sehr schönen Bucht 🙂 Zwar liegt das Apartment im Hinterhof aber keine Minute vom Strand entfernt. Die Terrasse ist super mit Grill und Whirlpool ausgestattet. Gastgeber war super freundlich und wir hatten ein wundervollen Aufenthalt.

The host mr Giorgos was an extremely kind host. He invited us for barbecue party in the garden twice together with some of his Greek friends and some other guests. The apartment was nice, and the small village was nice as well with some very good tavernas with well cooked local food.

Wow!! Our best family vacation ever! The villa is amazing, the view is incredible, the pool is great, everything is so clean and comfortable, Maria is the best hostess I have ever met, she met all our inspections. We stayed 23 people, we had everything we needed, Maria wrote us recommendations for everything. We did rented a car, the beach is not so close by. I will recommend this villa to all my friends.

Уютные апартаменты в тихой милой деревушки у моря . 2 минуты ходьбы до моря . рядом таверна и магазинчики . И дорога вдоль моря , по которой вечером приятно прогуляться . Хозяин внимательный и заботливый . в прошлом году они построили второй этаж. из номеров видно море . заплатите чуть побольше за 2 этаж и будете наслаждаться видом на море , попивая утренний кофе на своём балконе . уже скучаю . и обязательно вернусь !

Schönes Appartement mit einer tollen Terrasse, tolle Lage, sehr nette Vermieter. Wir hatten anfangs ein kleines Problem mit Geruch im Badezimmer. Georgios hat sofort reagiert und uns auch ein anderes Appartement angeboten, was aber dann doch nicht mehr nötig war. Der Ort ist überschaubar, in den wenigen Tavernen kann man gut essen. Strände sind fußläufig zu erreichen, oder auch nach kurzen Fahrten mit dem Auto.

Nikos is a superb host for a gem of a property. I highly recommend him and this property looking for a quiet get-away to relax and recharge.

Eine wirklich tolle Ferienwohnung in absolut großartiger Lage! Den Strand vor der Haustür haben wir beinahe jeden Tag genutzt. Typisch für Kreta sind Badeschuhe sinnvoll. Die Cafés und Tavernen vor Ort bieten leckere Verpflegung, auch wenn hier (fast) nichts besonderes dabei ist. Dafür erreicht man sein Bett dann nach dem Raki fußläufig. Besonders empfehlenswert sind die Cocktails im Café nebenan, aber auch das dortige Frühstücksangebot lohnt sich. Für Einkäufe ist der Mietwagen schon ein Muss; es gibt Mini-Märkte vor Ort, aber eben auch mit entsprechend hohen Preisen. Aber ohne Mietwagen sitzt man sowieso fest. Wir waren Ende September im Urlaub. Da ist in Ligaria nicht mehr viel los, die Menge an Tagesurlaubern ist überschaubar. Daher haben auch die Lokale ihre Öffnungszeiten schon eingeschränkt. Wir sind nicht verhungert, aber das sollte man außerhalb der Hauptsaison beachten. Nikolaus und seine Familie sind tolle Gastgeber. Er war immer erreichbar und hat sich sofort um Probleme (es waren auch eher “Problemchen”) gekümmert. Die Ferienwohnung ist zwar schön, hier gibt es aber auch noch Potential nach oben: Die Einrichtung ist spärlich, im Zimmer mit Doppelbett haben wir zum Beispiel einen zweiten Nachttisch sehr vermisst, vor allem aber zeigt sich das in der Küche. Selbst für eine Ferienwohnung war die Ausstattung sehr knapp. Das Badezimmer ist für griechische Verhältnisse schon sehr groß, allerdings fiel uns hier die Abnutzung am meisten auf. Das kleine Glasbausteinfenster öffnet sich in einen Carport, die Belüftung funktioniert so nicht. Es ist schwierig, die Dusche ohne Überschwemmung zu nutzen. So war die Luft im Bad bei vier Erwachsenen in der Wohnung immer unangenehm feucht. Vor allem war die Wohnung aber sehr sauber, das war uns viel wichtiger! Dennoch ist die Wohnung auf jeden Fall schön und eine Reise wert, mit einem neuen Bad und mehr Küchenutensilien wäre sie dann perfekt.

Der Ort ist traumhaft, das Essen der Wahnsinn – jede Taverne hat hausgemachtes Olivenöl, frische Zutaten, teilweise selbstangebaut. Das Appartment ist exakt wie auf den Fotos, sehr modern und sauber. George und sein Vater sind wunderbare Gastgeber, die einem mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stehen. Es gab ein BBQ im Garten und als George uns mal in der Taverne getroffen hat, hat er uns unsere Getränke ausgegeben. Der Ort hat mehrere kleine, schöne Strände, von Sand über Kiesel bis Stein, die alle im September/Oktober selbst bei 27 Grad angenehm leer waren. Es gibt einige schöne Ausflugsziele im Umkreis von 20min-1std Autofahrzeit. Vielen Dank für den tollen Urlaub 🙂

An amazing stay! Beautiful area comfortably located in a quiet area. Rental car within walking distance to the place so you can rent a car then easily either drive to the city or drive along the coast. There was a bad storm while we stayed and the host was kind and brought us food and candles. The local store owners stayed open to help out those on vacation!

Amazing Villa and incredible service! Beginning with an incredibly smooth and warm welcome, the whole communication with Maria as the host was super easy and quick. During the week the cleaning team came regularly which made our stay even more convenient ! I’d recommend the house to anyone !

Schon weit vor der Anreise hat Maria mit mir Kontakt aufgenommen sich vorgestellt und alle Fragen beantwortet. Sie hat immer alle Anliegen innerhalb kürzester Zeit beantwortet und sich auch darum gekümmert. So eine Gastgeberin wünscht man sich. Die Villa an sich ist sehr schön und geräumig. Und erst die fantastische Aussicht. Das gesamte Anwesen ist sehr schön angelegt und sehr gut in Schuss gehalten, der Pool wird täglich kontrolliert. Oft sieht man Fotos im Netz und vor Ort sieht es dann ganz anders aus. Hier stimmen die Fotos und die Realität überein 🙂 Leider waren wir nur ein verlängertes Wochenende dort, ich hätte noch gut und gerne länger hier verweilen können

Très belle villa accueillante propre et joliment décorée. La villa est très bien équipée. La vue est splendide. Toute est fait pour accueillir une grande famille (nous étions 17). Le gérant est disponible pour toutes questions ou besoins. Seul bémol: la villa est proche de la route qui est bruyante.

Maria was kind and helpful, everything was great and exactly like the picture. The villa was very clean and well maintained. Maria help us with everything we needed, renting quads, transportation, cruise and chefs. We definitely will come back !

We were a family of 20 people ranging from 1yrs – 84yrs old, it was a beautiful place to be the view were amazing we could eat at the outdoor kitchen or go out for dinner. The kiddies loved being in the pool all day. Maria and her team provided a first class service throughout our stay. Would highly recommend 😎

Die Villa Zeus, liegt schön in den Bergen von Kreta, der einfachste Weg zur Villa ist mit dem Mietwagen. Die Villa ist sehr modern und sehr sauber. Die Betten sind bequem, die Bäder sind sehr sauber genauso wie die Küchen, die Outdoorküche und der Pool. Wir waren zu 14 in der Villa und es ist mehr als ausreichend Geschirr, Gläser und Besteck vor Ort. Der Grill und Pizza Ofen waren traumhaft, auf dem Gelände ist auch genug Holz vorhanden für den Pizzaofen. Das Gelände hat eine schöne Ambiente Beleuchtung, so das es Nachts nicht zu hell bzw. zu dunkel ist. Wir werden nächstes Jahr zu 100% wieder kommen.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Georgios empfangen und haben auch gleich Ausflugstipps von ihm bekommen. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und modern eingerichtet. Die Lage ist super, es sind nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß zu den Tavernen am Ufer. Die Strände sind in laufnähe oder auch per Auto erreichbar.
