We were a group of 17 people, the place was fantastic, quiet, lots of space, beautiful views, a beautiful well-kept garden, the facility was perfect for a large group, each family had its own apartment, but the common space by the pool in the form of a tavern gave an amazing atmosphere! A grill and a pizza oven were everything you need to feast together! We will definitely come back!

We’ve just come back from our stay and I couldn’t recommend it more. The host is a really warm and friendly person who will make you feel at home. If you are looking for a place to chill by the beautiful mediterranean sea and beaches, Kastrí is your place with the perfect host.

Wow! 18 of us stayed for 10 days and everyone enjoyed every single minute staying at this beautiful and spacious villa. Maria is without doubt the best Airbnb host I’ve ever had and everything was immaculate. Maria helped Me to arrange a surprise birthday party with DJ and our own bartenders. And everything worked out perfectly. We also chose to have chefs for 5 days and oh my goodness what a fabulous recommendation – they cooked breakfast and dinner and it’s was fresh and absolutely delicious. They worked round our daily plans to suit us . I would 100% recommend Villa Ourania. We were sad to leave.

We stayed in the villa for 4 days, 3 nights with 18 colleagues. Contact with the owner was very good. She responded very quickly to everything and was very friendly. The house is somewhat remote high in the mountains, but for us this was of course great. We made a lot of noise with music (there was a music box and it was great), and it didn’t bother anyone. The rooms were very nicely and modernly decorated. all equipped with air conditioning. very nice modern showers. Nice large swimming pool. Towels were provided. Great 🙂

The location was great – a few minutes walk to the beach. The landlord was very friendly and helpful. I had a lot of space in the apartment. In front of the apartment there is a small terrace, where you can sit well. The garden is very nicely laid out, and guests are also allowed to stay there (hammock, table / chairs, hanging chair).

Beautiful, peaceful and comfortable studio apartment in the perfect location for a relaxing ocean holiday. The bed was super comfy and the apartment had everything we needed for a great stay. It’s right by the ocean with gorgeous beaches and near lovely local tavernas and bakeries in walking distance. We loved the views from the balcony and the quiet at night. Gergos is the most lovely host – so friendly and welcoming and available for anything we needed. We wish we could stay longer and cannot wait to come back to stay here! It’s such a gem.

Wenn ich 6 Sterne hätte vergeben können, dann wäre es hier absolut passend. Wir waren von soviel Gastfreundschaft geflashed. Das Apartment ist neu, hell und mit allem nötigen ausgestattet. Klimaanlage, WLAN, Flachbildfernseher, Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowelle, Cerankochfeld, Wasserkocher und ein Sandwichmaker. Das Grundstück ist eine Ruhe-Oase mit ausreichenden Parkplätzen. Das Apartment war blitzsauber. Zu Fuß sind mehrere Tavernen, Cafes und zwei kleine Lebensmittelmärkte erreichbar. Strände gibt es einige in der Nähe. Die Gegend ist perfekt für Ruhe und Entspannung. Georgios ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Er konnte uns Tipps für Ausflüge geben. Wir haben uns wie Zuhause gefühlt. Vielen herzlichen Dank und wenn wir das nächste Mal Kreta besuchen, würden wir sofort wieder dort anfragen.

Wo fange ich da an. Der Vermieter ist freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Es befindet sich ein Parkplatz direkt am Gebäude. Keine 100m entfernt ist das Meer. Es gibt genug Geschäfte, Cafés und Restaurants in der unmittelbaren Nähe. Das Gebäude und vor allem die Apartments sind toll. Neu, freundlich und hell. Mit allem benötigten ausgestattet. Wir haben uns hier wie Zuhause gefühlt. Vielen herzlichen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft. Falls wir wieder nach Kreta kommen, ist das unsere erste Wahl.

Maria was an outstanding host, her clear communication style and willingness to ensure that all our requests were met and questions answered allowed for a very pleasant experience and subsequently a very pleasant stay at Villa Ourania. The Villa itself is well kept and extremely clean and being in a very private location you can really expect a great nights sleep. There are many shops a short drive away from the Villa and a very long list of additional extras and/or exercusions that could be booked for the stay, again Maria had fantastic communication and responded very quickly with the information we asked for. Our stay at Villa Ourania was enjoyable and we look forward to returning in the future.

We have just returned from a stay at Villa Sandi. It was fantastic. The location was perfect for exploring the area. Giannis was very welcoming and helpful during our stay and dealt with any minor concerns we had in a timely way. Not to mention our first night meal which was kindly provided by his mother and was delicious. The perfect place to unwind. The Villa and grounds had everything we could possibly want.

We hired through Crete Rentals. They too were fantastic with exceptional communication and customer service. We will definitely be returning

Everything was just perfect.

Beautiful villa, looks exactly like the photos. The view is incredible. Personally I don’t think it’s easily walkable to the nearest town/beach, but we had cars, and taxis were very readily available. Maria was a great host who communicated well, and we appreciated the mid week clean and linen change. We visited in October and I will say the outside area gets a lot of wind and the pool is pretty chilly! Great facilities though, we absolutely loved our time here and would recommend to anyone. The local town has a good few bars, restaurants and a beach with sun loungers.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in Kastri. Wir wurden von Gastgeber und seiner Familie empfangen, bekamen direkt leckeres Obst und Raki zur Begrüßung. Die Wohnung ist klein aber sehr gemütlich und blitzsauber. Der Garten ist wunderschön, gemütliche Hängematte und sehr ruhig. Wir haben vor allem die Ruhe genossen – Ende September ist Nachsaison, am Strand waren wir oft die einzigen. Zu Fuß erreicht man mehrere Strände, darunter den wunderschönen Listis Beach, wirklich toll zum Schnorcheln. Die kleinen Tavernen und Cafés an der Promenade waren sehr schön, man sitzt direkt am Wasser, leckeres Essen und angenehme Stimmung. Toller Aufenthalt! Warme Empfehlung 🙂

We spent a week of a family vacation in Villa Zeus. There were 19 of us in 7 rooms. We were very surprised of the facilities. The rooms were spacious and fully equipped and so were the public facilities like the swimming pool and the outdoor dining space. All materials and structures were of excellent quality, as well as the communication and TV services. During the week we a a cleaning crew to assist us, and when the hot water system malfunctioned, we had a team to immidiately fix it. it was apparent the the owners care for the property and the guests.

Our stay in Georgios’ apartment was amazing! The apartment was as described, clean and well equipped. From the balcony we could see the ocean. The beautiful beaches and the local taverns are just a few meters away. Georgios was always friendly and provided us with tips for the surrounding area. We would come back anytime 🙂

Wir waren 22 Gäste (Freunde und Familie) um meine 30igsten Geburtstag zu feiern. Die Villa war der wahnsinn und die Aussicht atemberaubend. Wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt und die Villa, der Pool und die Zimmer sehen aus wie auf den Bildern, richtig schön. Maria ist eine gute Gastgeberin, sie hat sich sehr für uns eingesetzt und eine Privatparty mit Dj sowie eine wunderschöne Torte besorgt. Zudem hat sie uns Restaurant-Reservierungen gemacht – top. Es war alles sehr sauber und modern. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden wieder kommen.

Nous étions un groupe de 14 amis venus en Crète pour faire du sport et notre séjour était parfait. Villa incroyable. Très bien pensée et fonctionnelle, peut accueillir de très grands groupes sans manquer de confort. L’emplacement est idyllique en hauteur et sans voisinage, ce qui offre une vue unique. Mais pour moi qui était responsable de gérer la location, le plus gros atout était sans hésiter Maria, la propriétaire, d’une gentillesse et d’une disponibilité sans égal. Je ne peux même pas énumérer toutes les petites attentions de peur d’en oublier. Merci pour tout!

The place is amazing! 🤩 Even better than we expected, everything thoughtfully placed and met all our needs. And the view is a killer! Outside kitchen area is very convenient to watch a game, to have a dinner together or just to hang. Pool area is perfect for hot days! Everyone had their own bedroom, every apartment had a separate kitchen which was very convenient if you wanted to have a separate meal and had all essential appliances. Very easy communication with the host, we felt a warm and friendly welcome from the staff. ❤️ The best experience! Highly recommend!

We had a very cosy stay. The place was very clean, nice, new furniture – exactly as displayed in the pictures. Also we’ve enjoyed the amazing sea view and the nearby beach and the hospitality of Vaso and Georgios.

Maria is Very responsive and a effective host The place was just like pictures and was super clean, the location that is a bit remote so you need to consider that, but you get a peaceful and isolated experience in exchange. We were a family of 18 people with kids and the villa had plenty of space. 5 different apps with there own bathroom, toilet, kitchen, living room… yet a big place downstairs in the main area for everyone to come together eat, and relax. highly recommended!

The most luxurious, stunning and beautiful villa I have ever stayed. As soon as we entered the grounds and then the villa , we were all blown away by the outstanding quality of furnishings, decor, the layout of the villa . Every room has been finished to the highest standard and every room was immaculate. We went out to the pool area and could not believe how stunning the gardens were, the pool was perfect and a good size for our large party of 18. The views were just incredible. Maria was a very good host , so helpful with booking private chefs for the villa and a DJ too. Nothing was too much trouble, she was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We all felt like rock stars staying here for a week, a group of 18 , aged 9 up to 66. Thank you so much Maria for the best time, we will be coming back .

The owners are very welcoming and friendly, they do their best to make you feel like home. Clean and modernly decorated upper level room, with great mountain and sea views. H Cosmos Luxury Villa είναι πραγματικά απίστευτη! Είναι μια υπέροχη superlux βίλα που όμοια της δύσκολα βρίσκεις. Η πισίνα με τον φοίνικα στο κέντρο και τα όμορφα φυτά γύρω γύρω σου δίνει την αίσθηση ότι είσαι σε έναν τροπικό παράδεισο. Το BBQ είναι πλήρως εξοπλισμένο και το απολαύσαμε στο έπακρο. Επίσης την δεύτερη πισίνα με το τζακούζι την λατρέψαμε καθώς περάσαμε αρκετό χρόνο χαλάρωσης εκεί. Τέλος θα ήθελα να αναφέρω ότι η ομάδα της CreteRental και ο ιδιοκτήτης είναι πάρα πολύ βοηθητικοί και σε ότι ερώτηση ή βοήθεια χρειαστήκαμε ήταν άμεσα διαθέσιμοι οποιαδήποτε ώρα. Θα επισκεφτούμε την βίλα σίγουρα και του χρόνου και την συστήνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα.

Georgios hat uns sehr gastfreundlich empfangen und wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Die Strände, die uns empfohlen wurden, waren alle sehr schön. Ob man eine schöne Bucht mit Kiesstrand oder einen schönen Sandstrand mit Badeliegen und Getränkeservice möchte, man kommt auf jeden Fall auf seine Kosten. Georgios hat sich um alles gekümmert und für alles gesorgt. Wir würden immer wieder kommen und diese Unterkunft wählen.

From the moment to booking, to organising outings and trips, through to check-out, I was very impressed. Es hat alles super geklappt und Maria hat und alle offenen Fragen immer beantworten können und hatte für jedes Anliegen das wir hatten immer eine Lösung. Die Unterkunft war genau wie auf den Bildern und war super sauber! Durch die Lage die etwas abgelegen ist, konnten wir so laut sein wie wir wollten. Wir waren insgesamt 18 Personen und die Villa hatte ausreichend Platz. Alles in allem… sehr empfehlenswert!

Η VillaSandi με μια λέξη είναι ΑΠΙΣΤΕΥΤΗ! Μείναμε εκεί με 5 φίλους μου για το bachelor του κολλητού μας και πραγματικά θα μας μείνει αξέχαστο. Περάσαμε όμορφες στιγμές κάνοντας βουτιές στην πισίνα, ψήσαμε στο BBQ και χαλαρώσαμε δίπλα στη φύση. Η CreteRental απαντούσε αμέσως σε ότι χρειαστήκαμε. Σίγουρα θα την ξανά επισκεφτούμε και την συστήνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα!

If you want to be able to walk to shops, restaurants and the beach on vacation, then stop reading. But if you are like me, and enjoy driving on narrow, winding roads out in the countryside, occasionally stopping to let sheep and goats exit the road, drive through quaint villages and stop for a beer or ice cream and then end your drive at a spectacular oasis, then give Villa Zeus a strong look.

We came here to host a retreat, we all loved this space and I would stay here again. It is perfect for large groups and our chef loved the amount of kitchen space (there are multiple kitchens and fridges). The backyard garden and view is special. I’m sure I will be back here, professionally and with friends.

We had a wonderful time at Georgios and Vasso’s place -they are super welcoming and friendly hosts and the environment is very relaxing. The apartment is very new, perfectly clean, and comfortable. You can walk to really nice beaches in minutes -our favourite beach in the vicinity was the Listis beach, which requires a short drive or a slightly longer walk. A little tip from us is to also try out the taverna “Amalia’s” in Chondros (just up the road) -we went there five times because we loved it so much. Go there if you want a meal with a home-cooked flair, we thought it was really great (and the owners are also super nice)! Anyways, we really couldn’t recommend this location and this airbnb more! Le gardien était adorable, très disponible, toujours prêt à rendre service. L’emplacement était parfait, proche des supermarchés et des restaurants mais quand même au calme. Le jardin est très bien aménagé, c’est très joli et bien entretenu. Il y a quelques petites tables à l’extérieur et un hamac. Le studio était très fonctionnel, bien décoré, très agréable.

Wow, that is the first thing that you say when you see the Villa and it’s surrounding,s and Wow was also the last thing we said. The extended family (20 people) rented the house for a weekend and we enjoyed every moment at the Villa and the surroundings. The outside which includes a pool and large sitting areas is just amazing with amazing views of beautiful Crete. We spent many hours enjoying the pool. The inside of the house has multiple living areas which allowed different groups of people to engage in different activities. The kitchen is big and we enjoyed preparing some of our meals. The close by village of Agia Palagia is beautiful with great restaurants and beaches. I would also like to thank our host Maria who was so helpful and responsive, in a group of 20 people with kids there are always different needs and Maria was always there to help. We highly recommend the Villa and would certainly return.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Georgios empfangen und haben auch gleich Ausflugstipps von ihm bekommen. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und modern eingerichtet. Die Lage ist super, es sind nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß zu den Tavernen am Ufer. Die Strände sind in laufnähe oder auch per Auto erreichbar.

Perfekte Location für den gelungenen Kurzurlaub! Aussicht top, super eingerichtet und der Pool ist sowieso der Knaller! Jederzeit wieder!

Die Villa Zeus, liegt schön in den Bergen von Kreta, der einfachste Weg zur Villa ist mit dem Mietwagen. Die Villa ist sehr modern und sehr sauber. Die Betten sind bequem, die Bäder sind sehr sauber genauso wie die Küchen, die Outdoorküche und der Pool. Wir waren zu 14 in der Villa und es ist mehr als ausreichend Geschirr, Gläser und Besteck vor Ort. Der Grill und Pizza Ofen waren traumhaft, auf dem Gelände ist auch genug Holz vorhanden für den Pizzaofen. Das Gelände hat eine schöne Ambiente Beleuchtung, so das es Nachts nicht zu hell bzw. zu dunkel ist. Wir werden nächstes Jahr zu 100% wieder kommen.

We were a family of 20 people ranging from 1yrs – 84yrs old, it was a beautiful place to be the view were amazing we could eat at the outdoor kitchen or go out for dinner. The kiddies loved being in the pool all day. Maria and her team provided a first class service throughout our stay. Would highly recommend 😎

Très belle villa accueillante propre et joliment décorée. La villa est très bien équipée. La vue est splendide. Toute est fait pour accueillir une grande famille (nous étions 17). Le gérant est disponible pour toutes questions ou besoins. Seul bémol: la villa est proche de la route qui est bruyante.

Schon weit vor der Anreise hat Maria mit mir Kontakt aufgenommen sich vorgestellt und alle Fragen beantwortet. Sie hat immer alle Anliegen innerhalb kürzester Zeit beantwortet und sich auch darum gekümmert. So eine Gastgeberin wünscht man sich. Die Villa an sich ist sehr schön und geräumig. Und erst die fantastische Aussicht. Das gesamte Anwesen ist sehr schön angelegt und sehr gut in Schuss gehalten, der Pool wird täglich kontrolliert. Oft sieht man Fotos im Netz und vor Ort sieht es dann ganz anders aus. Hier stimmen die Fotos und die Realität überein 🙂 Leider waren wir nur ein verlängertes Wochenende dort, ich hätte noch gut und gerne länger hier verweilen können

Amazing Villa and incredible service! Beginning with an incredibly smooth and warm welcome, the whole communication with Maria as the host was super easy and quick. During the week the cleaning team came regularly which made our stay even more convenient ! I’d recommend the house to anyone !

An amazing stay! Beautiful area comfortably located in a quiet area. Rental car within walking distance to the place so you can rent a car then easily either drive to the city or drive along the coast. There was a bad storm while we stayed and the host was kind and brought us food and candles. The local store owners stayed open to help out those on vacation!

Der Ort ist traumhaft, das Essen der Wahnsinn – jede Taverne hat hausgemachtes Olivenöl, frische Zutaten, teilweise selbstangebaut. Das Appartment ist exakt wie auf den Fotos, sehr modern und sauber. George und sein Vater sind wunderbare Gastgeber, die einem mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stehen. Es gab ein BBQ im Garten und als George uns mal in der Taverne getroffen hat, hat er uns unsere Getränke ausgegeben. Der Ort hat mehrere kleine, schöne Strände, von Sand über Kiesel bis Stein, die alle im September/Oktober selbst bei 27 Grad angenehm leer waren. Es gibt einige schöne Ausflugsziele im Umkreis von 20min-1std Autofahrzeit. Vielen Dank für den tollen Urlaub 🙂

Eine wirklich tolle Ferienwohnung in absolut großartiger Lage! Den Strand vor der Haustür haben wir beinahe jeden Tag genutzt. Typisch für Kreta sind Badeschuhe sinnvoll. Die Cafés und Tavernen vor Ort bieten leckere Verpflegung, auch wenn hier (fast) nichts besonderes dabei ist. Dafür erreicht man sein Bett dann nach dem Raki fußläufig. Besonders empfehlenswert sind die Cocktails im Café nebenan, aber auch das dortige Frühstücksangebot lohnt sich. Für Einkäufe ist der Mietwagen schon ein Muss; es gibt Mini-Märkte vor Ort, aber eben auch mit entsprechend hohen Preisen. Aber ohne Mietwagen sitzt man sowieso fest. Wir waren Ende September im Urlaub. Da ist in Ligaria nicht mehr viel los, die Menge an Tagesurlaubern ist überschaubar. Daher haben auch die Lokale ihre Öffnungszeiten schon eingeschränkt. Wir sind nicht verhungert, aber das sollte man außerhalb der Hauptsaison beachten. Nikolaus und seine Familie sind tolle Gastgeber. Er war immer erreichbar und hat sich sofort um Probleme (es waren auch eher “Problemchen”) gekümmert. Die Ferienwohnung ist zwar schön, hier gibt es aber auch noch Potential nach oben: Die Einrichtung ist spärlich, im Zimmer mit Doppelbett haben wir zum Beispiel einen zweiten Nachttisch sehr vermisst, vor allem aber zeigt sich das in der Küche. Selbst für eine Ferienwohnung war die Ausstattung sehr knapp. Das Badezimmer ist für griechische Verhältnisse schon sehr groß, allerdings fiel uns hier die Abnutzung am meisten auf. Das kleine Glasbausteinfenster öffnet sich in einen Carport, die Belüftung funktioniert so nicht. Es ist schwierig, die Dusche ohne Überschwemmung zu nutzen. So war die Luft im Bad bei vier Erwachsenen in der Wohnung immer unangenehm feucht. Vor allem war die Wohnung aber sehr sauber, das war uns viel wichtiger! Dennoch ist die Wohnung auf jeden Fall schön und eine Reise wert, mit einem neuen Bad und mehr Küchenutensilien wäre sie dann perfekt.

Schönes Appartement mit einer tollen Terrasse, tolle Lage, sehr nette Vermieter. Wir hatten anfangs ein kleines Problem mit Geruch im Badezimmer. Georgios hat sofort reagiert und uns auch ein anderes Appartement angeboten, was aber dann doch nicht mehr nötig war. Der Ort ist überschaubar, in den wenigen Tavernen kann man gut essen. Strände sind fußläufig zu erreichen, oder auch nach kurzen Fahrten mit dem Auto.

Хозяин внимательный и заботливый . в прошлом году они построили второй этаж. из номеров видно море . заплатите чуть побольше за 2 этаж и будете наслаждаться видом на море , попивая утренний кофе на своём балконе . уже скучаю . и обязательно вернусь !

Wow!! Our best family vacation ever! The villa is amazing, the view is incredible, the pool is great, everything is so clean and comfortable, Maria is the best hostess I have ever met, she met all our inspections. We stayed 23 people, we had everything we needed, Maria wrote us recommendations for everything. We did rented a car, the beach is not so close by. I will recommend this villa to all my friends.

The host mr Giorgos was an extremely kind host. He invited us for barbecue party in the garden twice together with some of his Greek friends and some other guests. The apartment was nice, and the small village was nice as well with some very good tavernas with well cooked local food.

Amazing location right on beach – just a few steps from the door to the water. Lovely clean beach with sunbeds and umbrellas (€7 a set). Very spacious and clean. Very responsive host. Easy drive from Heraklion airport. Handy distance to Knossos and Heraklion museum. A few restaurants within a 2 minute walk from the door. We parked at the free carpark at the end of the beach and walked along the seafront to the apartment – only about 200m so very easy and less stressful than in the narrow streets.

The brand new airbnb was wonderful and had everything needed. Everything is according to the pictures. We were totally happy and would definitely recommand this appartement. Maria and her family were perfect hosts and made us feel home immediately. Close to the appartment are very beautiful beach spots and small, locally tavernas..

Highly recommend this property. It was perfect for the family stay with the teenagers have their own space. Great outdoor kitchen with pizza oven which led to pizza competitions. It is isolated although the nearby villagers have good restaurants. Maria was so helpful arranging transfers and horse riding, she was great!

A magical place! The flat is spacious, very clean and well furnished. Beds and towels are of good quality. You will find everything you need and waking up in the morning with this magical view has been an every day dream. Coming from France, the AC in all the rooms made a huge difference and allowed perfect nights. The location is absolutely unique, a few meters from the sea with a very well maintained private garden, nice sun beds, and sweet birds flying from the trees in the morning and in the evening. Early morning baths were perfect. The beach is clean and looked after. Recommended restaurants are very good. Nikos is an unbelievable host, warm hearted and always available, he provides a very quick and efficient assistance, recommendations and help if needed, on top of being very welcoming and caring. The apartment has a great location, right next to the beach. If you want to stay in the shade during the day, you can stay on the patio, enjoy the view and go dip in the sea any time you want. If you want to enjoy the sun – no problem either, you can use one of the sun beds in the private garden. The apartment was clean and well furnished, we truly enjoyed our stay there and would come back again. While I was traveling with friends, it would also be great for families with kids.

Era tutto molto in ordine e molto pulito. Lo spazio all’aperto con la jacuzzi e il barbecue era molto curato, c’era un prato comune sul davanti con vista mare e accesso diretto alla spiaggia.

Muy recomendable el departamento. La vista es espectacular, está totalmente equipado, el jacuzzi en la terraza es un plus. La playa de enfrente es muy tranquila, hay varios restaurantes y un supermercado cerca. Nikos fue muy amable en todo momento y respondió rápidamente a nuestras consultas.

Highly recommend this beautiful apartment to anyone visiting Crete. Very accommodating to travelers and well kept and clean. The location couldn’t be better – steps away from the beach. And there are lots of restaurants and even a small market within walking distance. Would stay there again and recommend to friends!

Love our stay there. It was the relaxing part of our vacation in Greece. It was great to be close to everything while having the privacy of the balcony if needed. Only small negatives were that the kitchen should be better furnished (glasses mainly) and the shower.

We were an extended family of eighteen with three generations ages 9months to 72 years and all had a fabulous time. Maria was an excellent host responding quickly to any questions or requests. The villa had amazing views and spectacular sunsets and sunrises. Everyone enjoyed the pool and the surrounding grass made a great play area for the younger members. It was not too far to the local beaches and bars, although we used a car, bit far to walk with children and hot sun. We self catered for the majority of the holiday and found a lovely shop in Agia Pelagia for all our needs and they were so helpful. Heraklion airport was easily accessible by taxi, transfer and car – only about 20 minutes. All in all a superb holiday in an amazing place.

Maria was a great host. The way she has everything so organized was amazing. We all loved the big comfy home and the beautiful view from the backyard. They house was very clean and neat. The kids loved the toys area and swimming pool. We did not want to leave.

16 of us stayed at Villa Ourania for just under a week and this was the best holiday we’ve ever been on! I don’t think I’ll ever have a better host than Maria! From the facilities to the hospitality everything was perfect. Maria provided us with a list of excursions and activities we could do before we arrived and also helped us sort out transport to and from the villa. I can’t recommend this place enough, the pictures do not do this villa justice! It’s honestly so beautiful and the surrounding areas also add to that. If you’re on the fence and deciding whether or not to book this villa, this is your sign to do it! I promise you won’t regret it!

Very clean, new and high quality apartment on the first floor of the building. Big balcony. Best place to stay in Kastri. Check in and check out was easy without any problems. We would definetely stay again at Marias place.

Counting the days to come back to this magical beach stay. It’s a great apartment, everything you need for a beach stay, and you’re literally on the beach as you step out of the flat. The owners were lovely and helpful and the attached caffe wad perfect smoothies and cocktails. There’s a few restaurants around this small beautiful cove, all are nice with lovely owners, and have good relaxed vibes. Bring water footwear at there’s a big rock as you enter the water, but the water is absolutely clear it’s amazing! there’s a little supermarket on the beach so if you need to buy some basic food, souvenirs, or beach and scuba props it’s easy. Such a pearl. We’re coming back for sure.

We really enjoyed our stay on the beach. This apartment is steps from the beach, but still feels private. The view from the living room and balcony cannot be beat. It was very easy to sink into a relaxing vacation because the couches were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. The only downside is the bad pop music from the cafe next door (10am to midnight) that interrupted the sound of the waves.

Die Lage war hervorragend, direkt am Strand. Auch der Vorgarten war toll zum Sonnenbaden und fürs Yoga im Freien. Die Terasse war wunderbar, besonders zum Frühstück morgens, weil sie dann Sonne hatte.

Incredible location in the heart of the beach front area of Ligaria. Wonderful spot literally on the beach and adjacent to all restaurants. Just was exceptional and offered welcoming items and was very good communicator.

This is an excellent location top notch accommodation. Big beds big views, ten feet from the beach, quite at night and restaurants on both sides of the home. A small but very well stocked market store is 5 min walk along the sea trail.

Perfect location… and in many other ways too. I don’t think you could find a better location in Ligaria – this apartment is pretty much right in the middle of the beautiful bay, open the gate and you’re on the beach. There’s a nice selection of restaurants along the front, all really friendly with great food. The sea is stunning and clear and its worth a walk up the rock on the left (as you look at the sea) where the Greek flag is flying – its the best spot to watch the sunrise and doesn’t take long to get there at all (even though it looks far when you’re lying on the beach!). The jacuzzi is such a lovely bonus – and although we didn’t eat in there was everything you needed. The snacks and fruit on arrival were a lovely touch and much appreciated. Everything was clean and comfortable, couldn’t fault it. Am sure will be back! If you’re looking to stay in a lovely party of this island with crystal clear waters then don’t hesitate to stay here, would be surprised if you could find better. Oh, and the communication was second to none, really helpful at all times.

We spent a week at Villa Ourania as a family group of 13 including children. The villa is amazing. The view from the pool area is breathtaking and we spent many evenings watching the sunset. The villa is well equipped with many different eating areas to dine. Maria the owner was extremely attentive for any queries we had. We pre booked the private chef one evening who cooked a traditional Cretan meal for us. We would thoroughly recommend this – outstanding value and delicious food. The views from this apartment are unparalleled. It was the best apartment that we stayed in of 5 on this trip, largely because of the lovely terrace, garden and the fact that you step out of the gate, take 3 steps and are on the beach. All the amenities are provided and the apartment is quiet, cool and comfortable. Hard recommend.

This place was a gem! We loved swimming in the bay, lounging in the chairs and umbrellas. The restaurants and bars that were recommended were wonderful. Would definitely stay here again.

A very beautiful contemporary modern space that I would definitely stay in again. The interior was great and the kitchen was fully equipped. The surroundings are stunning, we had a lovely time. The location is just amazing and Maria, the host, is very friendly and helpful with everything we needed.

This is a really good apartment, in an incredible location on the beach. The apartment is really smart, spacious, well-equipped and comfortable. One of the best things is the beautiful front garden, really spacious, where you can have privacy but right on the beach. And great being here in May when this delightful small resort is just coming alive. Only 30 mins from Heraklion airport. Great food from Babis and his family at Sirocco almost next door!

EIN UNVERGESSENES ERLEBNIS! Zunächst möchten sich 15 überglückliche Kurzurlauber (Aufenthalt 5 Tage) auch auf diesen Weg unserer Gastgeberin Maria herzlichst für diesen einmaligen Urlaub in ihrer wunderschönen Villa bedanken. Maria ist eine herzliche und professionelle Gastgeberin, die uns jederzeit für Fragen und vor allem auch für Anregungen zur Seite stand. Hier ein paar Details: LAGE (Entfernung): Die Villa befindet sich ca. 20 Minuten und 20 Kilometer vom Flughafen Heraklion und auch von der Innenstadt entfernt. Das ist wirklich optimal, da wir a) schnell vor Ort waren und zwischendurch auch mal in die Stadt gefahren sind. Maria hat hierzu sehr gute Tipps und Vorschläge für Tanz, Gastronomie und Shopping. Auch wenn der Abschied schwer fällt … der Flughafen ist dann auch kurz und schmerzlos in 20 Minuten erreichbar. Ein Taxi zur Villa kostet ca. 30 – 35 Euro. Einen Mietwagen findet man bereits ab 20€ am Tag direkt am Flughafen. LAGE (Erlebnis): Es ist wirklich magisch. Die Fotos können den Ausblick und das Panorama vor Ort kaum beschreiben. Wer schon einmal auf Santorin war, hat möglicherweise eine Idee, was ich damit beschreiben möchte. Es gibt möglicherweise keine bessere Stelle auf diesem Inselabschnitt, um eine Villa zu bauen. Den Strand kann man von der Villa aus sehen und befindet sich ca. 5 Minuten (Auto) entfernt und kann auch fußläufig in ca. 15 Minuten erreicht werden (Agia Pelagia und Ligaria). In Agia Pelagia gibt es direkt ab Strand mehrere Restaurants, von denen die meisten Fischtavernen sind (frisch gefangener Fisch. Wir haben uns zwei Mal für das Restaurant “Alchimist” entschieden, da er viele kretanische Köstlichkeiten auf Tapas Art serviert. In Ligaria gibt es nur 2 – 3 Restaurants, die sich direkt am Strand befinden. Dafür gibt es hier einen wunderschönen Strand mit vielen Liegen und einem tollen Ausblick. AUSSTATTUNG HAUS: Es ist alles da! Eine moderne große Küche und mehrere Bäder auf jeder Etage. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und modern eingerichtet. Ein sehr großes Wohnzimmer und eine wunderschöne Hauptterrasse war für uns der Mittelpunkt des Geschehens, wir haben hier gegessen, getrunken und unserer Lieblingslieder über die große Bluetooth Anlage angehört. Es gibt auch noch weitere Terrassen auf den oberen Etagen und im Untergeschoss. Darüber hinaus gibt es noch ein Nebengebäude mit zwei weiteren Doppelzimmer und einer eigenen Küche. Dort befindet sich auch eine aufwendig aus Stein gebaute “Feuerstelle” (Grill und Steinofen). ZIMMER: Wenn ich es richtig gezählt habe, gibt es insgesamt 10 Doppel- und ein Einzelzimmer mit gleicher Ausstattung. Besonders hervorzugeben ist das große Zimmer im Untergeschoss, mit einer eigenen Terrasse und direktem Zugang zum Pool. Ich könnte noch viel zur Villa Ourania schreiben. Ich fasse es aber so zusammen: Man muss es vor Ort erleben, um meine Begeisterung nachvollziehen zu können!

テラスの前に共有の庭があり、その先はビーチ。小石のビーチで、透明なきれいな海。波が穏やかなのでよく見ていると小さい魚が泳いでいました。近くのスーパーマーケットで必要なものはすぐに調達でき、ゆっくり過ごすことができました。

The place was right by the beach and had an amazing view. When we arrived there was cookies waiting for us. The host was super attentive to our needs and we were only a half an hour drive from Heraklion.

We really enjoyed staying at Nikolaos apartment. It was ideal for our family of 4, and we enjoyed being on the beautiful beach, as well as the jacuzzi on the deck. The only issue was that all the charming beach tavernas weren’t open yet, just one on Sunday night. They were all being prepared for opening Easter weekend. The little grocery store was open and very handy.

Such a perfect location, deck overlooking a perfect turquoise Mediterranean cove and the expansive sea beyond. It was a wonderful stay, we had a blast

Έχει χώρο στάθμευσης και ένα όμορφο και περιποιημένο κήπο. Τα δωμάτια είναι καθαρά, άνετα και καλά εξοπλισμένα για να μαγειρέψεις αν το επιθυμείς! Ιδανικό για οικογένειες με παιδιά,παρέες αλλά και για ζευγάρια! Πολλοί φιλικοί και θετικοί οικοδεσπότες! Έχουν κάνει πολύ καλή δουλειά! Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα!!

Απίστευτο μέρος η άνθρωποι είναι τέλειοι!! Φιλοξενία απίστευτη μπάρμπεκιου χαβαλες κρασί τσικουδιά θάλασσα έχει να πας να τρέξεις διαδρομές φαγητά τέλεια!! Πολύ φτηνά και προσιτά παντού!! Και φυσικά πανέμορφο μέρος!!! Τα είπα όλα νομίζω!! Έχει γίνει το στέκι μας πλέον !!!

Ενεργειακό μέρος με καταπληκτικές παραλίες…κοντινές ταβέρνες και σούπερ μάρκετ. Υπέροχα,καθαρα με ωραίο design δωμάτια με άνετα κρεβάτια. Θερμή και εξυπηρετική υποδοχή. Περάσαμε τέλεια! Ευχαριστούμε!Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα!

Εξαιρετική φιλοξενία. Καθαρά, περιποιημένα και όμορφα δωμάτια! Πολύ καλή τοποθεσία, με την θάλασσα, τα μαγαζιά με τα απαραίτητα και ταβέρνες, καφέ δίπλα σου στα 2 λεπτά.

Πολύ προσεγμένα δωμάτια, καθαρά και με φιλόξενους ιδιωκτήτες!!!Το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα!!!

Απλα τελεια! Νέα διαμερίσματα!
Το κατάλυμα πρόσθεσε 3 νέα διαμερίσματα, με εξαιρετική θέα στο Λυβικό πέλαγος στον πρώτο όροφο. Έρχονται να συμπληρώσουν ένα ήδη καταπληκτικό χώρο με πρόσθετη αξία! Η επίσκεψη ειναι επιβεβλημένη.

Καθαρά δωμάτια, ήσυχα, πλήρως εξοπλισμένα για χαλαρές διακοπές με γρήγορη πρόσβαση σε παραλία και ταβέρνες. Η οικοδέσποινα Βάσω πολύ φιλική και εξυπηρετικη θα ξανά έρθω

Amazing place! Since we arrived we felt at home. The owners were so nice we felt we were visiting our favorite cousins! Super clean and awesome location!

Είναι η δεύτερη φορά που ερχόμαστε και ομολογω ότι λόγω ολικής ανακαίνισης η βίλα έχει αναβαθμιστεί πληρώντας πολύ υψηλές προδιαγραφές. Κάτι όμως που παραμένει το ίδιο αξέχαστο και ασύγκριτο με οπουδήποτε έχουμε πάει είναι το ηλιοβασίλεμα. Όλα είναι καινούργια, ο χώρος είναι μεγάλος με όλες τις ανέσεις, εργονομικός πολύ προσεγμένος και καθαρός. Η Μαρία πάντα φιλική ως οικοδεσπότης και με άμεση άνταπόκριση σε ότι χρειαστήκαμε. Τη συστήνω σε όλους και σίγουρα θα ξαναβρεθούμε εκεί. Συγχαρητήρια για την εξέλιξη!!!!!

We spent a week at Villa Ourania as a family group of 13 including children. The villa is amazing. The view from the pool area is breathtaking and we spent many evenings watching the sunset. The villa is well equipped with many different eating areas to dine. Maria the owner was extremely attentive for any queries we had. We pre booked the private chef one evening who cooked a traditional Cretan meal for us. We would thoroughly recommend this – outstanding value and delicious food. Thank you Maria for sharing your wonderful property – we would love to come back again!

Our stay at Villa Ourania was wonderful!
The villa was very clean and spacious. We came as a group of 18 and had a very comfortable stay. The view is extrodinary! The owner replied to all our questions and requests in due time and made sure we had all we needed. I recommend this place greatly.

We had an unforgettable vacation!!! Ideal for large groups but also families with children!! The rooms and the pool area are dreamy!! The best hospitality from Maria!! Thank you for everything!!

Great place to stay. Wonderful for a large group. The outside seating area was so fun to have breakfast every morning and drinks every night.

Super aufmerksames freundliches Personal. Essen war hervorragend, auch erwähnenswert sind die kleinen kostenlosen Vorspeisen und der Nachtisch. Gerne werden wir uns dort wieder verwöhnen lassen. Ist wirklich empfehlenswert!!!!!!!! Danke für den schönen Abend 👍👍👍👍

Το κατάλληλο μέρος για μεγάλες παρέες. Ήμασταν 3 οικογένειες με 5 παιδιά… Ευχάριστη έκπληξη ήταν ένα ξεχωριστό παράρτημα δίπλα στη βίλα όπου επέλεξαν τα μεγαλύτερα παιδιά μας για να κοιμηθούν και να έχουν το δικό τους χώρο!!! Άψογη καθαρίοτητα, τα παιδιά ευχαριστήκαν βουτιές στην πισίνα και απολαύσαμε την θέα στην θάλασσα! Θα ξανά έρθουμε σύντομα.. Ευχαριστούμε για την φιλοξενία ❣️

We are a group or 27 people who came in Crete for a dance seminar for one week on early August. We decided to book Villa Ourania and we didn’t regretted it at all! The villa is amazing with the most breath taking views!! Even we were a big group, the inside and outside spaces are extremely comfortable! The hosts were amazing and they helped us with all the arrangements before our arrival and during our stay!
The villa is very close to facilities, yet offers total privacy!
We had the best holidays ever and can’t wait to come again!

I rented this Villa with 19 friends during my Erasmus stay in Heraklion. We had an amazing time, the Villa is huge and has everything you need from a pizza oven to a pool. There was even a second House behind the Villa with more bedrooms and an additional Kitchen. Also there is alot of Olive Trees around the house itself on the property which gives an additional touch to it. The landlady was super friendly and helped us with all our needs. Last but not least the view from the Villa is really special. I can recommend this Villa for everybody!

We had an amazing week with our Erasmus group at Villa Ourania! The house is beautiful with an extra side house with more rooms, an extra kitchen and a nice barbeque area. The pool was very refreshing and the view from the back yard was absolutley beautiful. I highly recommend a stay here.

Super apartment!

Very responsive and effective host. Perfect place for a large group wanting to enjoy crete…

The location – an apartment directly at the sea with a garden and a large terrace. The view from the apartment. The proximity of the restaurants (we loved ND Lygaria). A great place for family holidays (we were flying a 3 month old baby and a 2 year old child).

The garden is peaceful and beautiful place where to spend breakfast or play cards with the children Mr.s Maria is a very pleasant host

Wir waren insgesamt 20 und haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen. Das Haus ist perfekt um die Seele baumeln zu lassen, Party zu machen oder Tagesausflüge zu unternehmen. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet, für 20 Leute könnte es allerdings etwas mehr Geschirr geben. Ansonsten war alles wunderbar. Gerne wieder :))

Lovely apartment, right on the beach. Appartment was , well set up and very clean, just as the photos show. ie lovely view and sitting out area. We had a small problem which Nikos was sorted immediately, which for me is good sign. He was very helpful when we needed advice Lygaria is lovely, very pretty village by the sea where we felt very safe and welcomed (as usual when you come to Crete) .3 or 4 restaurants with a small Supermarket. . Would recommend

You cannot get a better location than this – literally on the beach, but you have your own territory. One thing to note: it’s a pebble beach and there are big stones as you enter the sea but you can buy special swimming slippers in a local shop 2min away from the apartment. The shop has everything you may need: basic groceries, fruits, drinks, ice cream, souvenirs, kids toys and even swimsuits. So, we preferred breakfast at our terrace overlooking the beach and just got a take away coffee and fresh orange juice for just €3 literally next door – fantastic!

I was worried about places to eat, but Sirocco and Anatolē were absolutely amazing for traditional food – we went to Santorini after Crete, and no restaurants could beat theirs. Also, great omelette for breakfast at ‘Ligaria restaurant’ – big portions and gorgeous view. We also went to ‘Mythos’ on Agia Pelagia beach 10min away by taxi and it was great. The restaurant was great, but the Agia Pelagia itself despite being a sandy beach seemed much more crowded and less pretty than Ligaria. So we were triple glad we stayed at Green Apartment in Lygaria.

The apartment itself was wonderful – everything we needed, and the terrace that has direct gate to the garden and beach – truly fantastic. Also, we had a 3 year old with us, and were so lucky there were toys for her and even a mini playground with a slide and swings. I would highly recommend this

We loved Villa Zeus, we are a big family and everybody had their space and privacy at the same time that we were all together, the view is beautiful, every sunset picture perfect, quiet, private with all the necessary amenities, wi-fi worked perfectly for those that still needed to be connected to work, the hosts are wonderful giving warm people, willing to do everything to make our stay the best possible, it was easy to reach them and received replies within minutes, their help in organizing our trip was invaluable. we had an amazing time !
