Die Villa war super, von der Größe war sie genau passend für uns. Es gab genug Platz ob zum Liegen, Speisen und aöles war super bei der Ankunft.
Auch hat Maria als Gadtgeberin uns auch Tipps und Möglichkeiten angeboten wie wir mit über 20 Personen gemeinsam verreisen konnten. Eine super Gastgeberin.

Nous avons été agréablement surpris par la qualité du logement proposé. Aristeidis était souriant toujours disponible et très réactif. Le logement est très proche de la mer et de nombreux petits commerces sont à proximité. Contrairement à ce qui apparaît sur les photos, la terrasse est protégée des regards par des claustra ce qui permet de déjeuner tranquillement sur la terrasse.

Premium accommodation at an excellent value. The host is very responsive and eager-to-please. Everything was exactly as described. The property is brand new, and it feels like it. The location is very convenient, with a few minutes’ walk to the beach, where you’ll find the sea as beautiful as it gets. There are numerous amenities in the immediate vicinity, including restaurants, shops, a pharmacy, etc. The bedding is very good, and the sleep quality is excellent. We want to return.

The room has everything you need and is located in a quiet, somewhat secluded area. Ideal if you’re looking for some peace and quiet combined with beach and sea. You can see and hear the ocean from the room, and it’s just a few meters away on foot. I can’t say much about the kitchen as I always went to one of the many affordable tavernas nearby. The host gives you a friendly welcome at check-in and is always available if you have any questions or issues.

Host was great with easy check in and clear check in instructions. We accidentally locked the keys inside and the host helped us get in right away. Also helped to arrange an airport transfer for an early flight in the morning. Would definitely recommend to stay here.

This Villa was absolutely perfect for our stay in Creta. Atleast 22 people fit here perfectly for one week stay. It looked better in real life than in photos. Yard was clean and well maintained, pool was clean and right size for our use. The view from the backyard was beautifull. Also the livingroom and kitchen area was big enough for 22 to hang around and it still felt like other 22 would fit perfectly. Highly recommend, the price was good and owner and other staff were also helpfull and easy to contact.

Die Chouzourakis Studios sind weniger als 5 Gehminuten vom kleinen, aber wunderschönen Strand von Kastri entfernt. Nach einem wunderbaren und sehr herzlichen Empfang durch den Gastgeber an der Rezeption unter den Bäumen im Garten haben wir uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Unsere Wünsche wurden sehr freundlich erfüllt. Unsere Wohnung war perfekt für uns als Familie mit zwei Teenagern.
Die Empfehlungen des Gastgebers, von Tavernen bis zu Stränden, waren alle ausgezeichnet.
Kurzum: unglaublich freundliche Gastgeber, eine wunderschöne Wohnung in einer wirklich guten Lage. Es war perfekt für uns und wir haben unsere Zeit sehr genossen.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr ruhig direkt am Stand und es ist im Ort nicht touristisch. Es gibt ein paar Restaurants und zwei kleine Supermärkte, die gut zur Fuß erreichbar sind. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und hatte alles was man braucht. Von Balkon aus hatte man einen tollen Ausblick und konnte dort schöne Abende verbringen. Der Gastgeber war wunderbar und jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr weiterempfehlen.

A lovely host. He welcomed us warmly. We were able to check out much later without any problem. Very comfortable room, large bed, great balconies for evening gatherings. The beach is a few meters away, shops and taverns nearby.

Great accomodation, in a really lovely part of Crete. Very friendly and helpful host, who also kindly arranged a BBQ for the guests one evening. Nice sitting areas for each room as well as a shared garden area. Good onsite parking also. Superb quiet beaches nearby, nice mini markets and very friendly Taverna’s too. We stayed for 12 days and loved it. The place is 5 min walk from Agia Pelagia, where you can find lots of restaurants, cafes and bars. A supermarket is also 1 min walk away. The apartment itself is modern and really clean with all the amenities required. There’s also a dedicated parking place which was great. Would love to be back someday!

The apartment is brand new, spacious and very well organized. The washing machine was very useful, as well as the well equiped kitchen. Wir haben eine Woche in der Unterkunft verbracht und waren sehr zufrieden! Der kleine Ort ist wunderschön, ruhig und nicht von Touristen überlaufen – man fühlt sich unter den Einheimischen sehr wohl. Es gibt tolle Tavernen und Cafés in fußläufiger Entfernung, und alle Strände sind wunderschön, sauber und nicht zu überfüllt. We recently stayed at Terra Apartment with our 2 kids , just a short walk from the beach, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The location is unbeatable—only a 3-minute stroll to the sand, with several cafes, surf /dive shops, and a big grocery store nearby. The apartment itself was clean, modern, and well-equipped. The building site was new and with a fantastic design. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook basic meals, and the living room had a comfy sofa bed and smart TV. Wi-Fi was strong enough, and the air conditioning worked well (a must for beach weather!). The bedroom was spacious , the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of closet space. On the back was space with a clothes dryer. Overall, I’d highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking to enjoy a beachside escape. Nagyon kedves volt Maria, egyből felvette velünk a kapcsolatot ami nagyon jó visszajelzés volt szamunkra. Barmiben segített amit kértünk tőle, perceken belül válaszolt. A szállás kifogástalan volt, olyannyira, hogy több napot töltöttünk a szálláson mint terveztük. The villa is amazing both inside and out. The views are stunning 😍 The host Maria was so helpful and supportive in helping us to organize our wedding celebration there. Her communication was good and she put us in contact with services such as bar hire, DJ equipment, taxis and photographers. We did have issues with the electricity during our wedding celebration but Maria called her own contractors in to sort the issue even though it was an external problem. We can’t thank her enough for that. The cleaners that came after were really personable and deserve a special mention. Kastri si trova a sud dell’isola e credo nella zona meno turistica ma vera di Creta. Se cercate vita notturna, spiagge attrezzate, negozi e locali affollati cercate altrove. Qui regna la pace. Appena arrivati ci ha accolto il proprietario, una persona stupenda, simpatica e molto cordiale. Ci ha offerto frutta fresca e raki e ci ha dato tutte le informazioni utili per poterci muovere in zona. L’appartamento è nuovo, molto pulito e ben attrezzato. C’è il posto auto e un bel giardinetto dove passare delle belle serate. La posizione è ottima, il mare, le taverne e i 2 super market sono raggiungibili a piedi. La differenza la fa l’ospitalità , perché quando hai la malinconia di lasciare un posto è perché hai trovato persone stupende che ti hanno accolto con sincera ospitalità.

Der Gastgeber ist ein sehr aufmerksamer, bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir mit Meze und Hand Made Raki (sehr lecker) im kleinen Garten am Appartement zum relaxen begrüßt. Amazing service and effort from the host. The Villa is fantastic and there is nothing negative to be mentioned. Die Besitzer sind gastfreundlich und immer bereit zu helfen. Die Unterkunft war sauber und es war alles vorhanden, was man so braucht. Die Handtücher und Bettwäsche wurde regelmäßig ausgetauscht und die Wohnung in Absprache gereinigt. Die Lage ist toll. Wunderschöne Strände, mehrere Restaurants direkt am Strand, und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nur ein paar Schritte von der Unterkunft entfernt. Dennoch ist es ist die Unterkunft ruhig und lässt Raum für Entspannung. Die Strände sind auch nicht überlaufen, häufig sogar nahezu leer und man kann wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge genießen. Meine Familie und ich haben uns definitiv verliebt und würde jeder Zeit wiederkommen. In diesem Sinne: Alle Daumen hoch und vielen Dank für diese wunderschöne Zeit.

Wow! 18 of us stayed for 10 days and everyone enjoyed every single minute staying at this beautiful and spacious villa. Maria is without doubt the best Airbnb host I’ve ever had and everything was immaculate. Maria helped Me to arrange a surprise birthday party with DJ and our own bartenders. Wo fange ich da an. Der Vermieter ist freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Es befindet sich ein Parkplatz direkt am Gebäude. Keine 100m entfernt ist das Meer. Beautiful villa, looks exactly like the photos. The view is incredible. Personally I don’t think it’s easily walkable to the nearest town/beach, but we had cars, and taxis were very readily available. Maria was a great host who communicated well, and we appreciated the mid week clean and linen change. We visited in October and I will say the outside area gets a lot of wind and the pool is pretty chilly! Great facilities though, we absolutely loved our time here and would recommend to anyone. The local town has a good few bars, restaurants and a beach with sun loungers.

Die Wohnung ist klein aber sehr gemütlich und blitzsauber. Der Garten ist wunderschön, gemütliche Hängematte und sehr ruhig. Wir haben vor allem die Ruhe genossen – Ende September ist Nachsaison, am Strand waren wir oft die einzigen. Zu Fuß erreicht man mehrere Strände, darunter den wunderschönen Listis Beach, wirklich toll zum Schnorcheln. Die kleinen Tavernen und Cafés an der Promenade waren sehr schön, man sitzt direkt am Wasser, leckeres Essen und angenehme Stimmung. Toller Aufenthalt! Warme Empfehlung 🙂

We spent a week of a family vacation in Villa Zeus. There were 19 of us in 7 rooms. We were very surprised of the facilities. The rooms were spacious and fully equipped and so were the public facilities like the swimming pool and the outdoor dining space. All materials and structures were of excellent quality, as well as the communication and TV services. During the week we a a cleaning crew to assist us, and when the hot water system malfunctioned, we had a team to immidiately fix it. it was apparent the the owners care for the property and the guests.

As soon as we entered the grounds and then the villa , we were all blown away by the outstanding quality of furnishings, decor, the layout of the villa . Every room has been finished to the highest standard and every room was immaculate. We went out to the pool area and could not believe how stunning the gardens were, the pool was perfect and a good size for our large party of 18. The views were just incredible. We had a wonderful time at Georgios and Vasso’s place -they are super welcoming and friendly hosts and the environment is very relaxing. The apartment is very new, perfectly clean, and comfortable. You can walk to really nice beaches in minutes -our favourite beach in the vicinity was the Listis beach, which requires a short drive or a slightly longer walk. A little tip from us is to also try out the taverna “Amalia’s” in Chondros (just up the road) -we went there five times because we loved it so much. Go there if you want a meal with a home-cooked flair, we thought it was really great (and the owners are also super nice)! Anyways, we really couldn’t recommend this location and this airbnb more! Wow, that is the first thing that you say when you see the Villa and it’s surrounding,s and Wow was also the last thing we said. The extended family (20 people) rented the house for a weekend and we enjoyed every moment at the Villa and the surroundings. The outside which includes a pool and large sitting areas is just amazing with amazing views of beautiful Crete. We spent many hours enjoying the pool. The inside of the house has multiple living areas which allowed different groups of people to engage in different activities. The kitchen is big and we enjoyed preparing some of our meals. The close by village of Agia Palagia is beautiful with great restaurants and beaches. I would also like to thank our host Maria who was so helpful and responsive, in a group of 20 people with kids there are always different needs and Maria was always there to help. We highly recommend the Villa and would certainly return.

Die Villa Zeus, liegt schön in den Bergen von Kreta, der einfachste Weg zur Villa ist mit dem Mietwagen. Die Villa ist sehr modern und sehr sauber. Die Betten sind bequem, die Bäder sind sehr sauber genauso wie die Küchen, die Outdoorküche und der Pool. Wir waren zu 14 in der Villa und es ist mehr als ausreichend Geschirr, Gläser und Besteck vor Ort. Der Grill und Pizza Ofen waren traumhaft, auf dem Gelände ist auch genug Holz vorhanden für den Pizzaofen. Das Gelände hat eine schöne Ambiente Beleuchtung, so das es Nachts nicht zu hell bzw. zu dunkel ist. Wir werden nächstes Jahr zu 100% wieder kommen.

Eine wirklich tolle Ferienwohnung in absolut großartiger Lage! Den Strand vor der Haustür haben wir beinahe jeden Tag genutzt. Typisch für Kreta sind Badeschuhe sinnvoll. Die Cafés und Tavernen vor Ort bieten leckere Verpflegung, auch wenn hier (fast) nichts besonderes dabei ist. Dafür erreicht man sein Bett dann nach dem Raki fußläufig. Besonders empfehlenswert sind die Cocktails im Café nebenan, aber auch das dortige Frühstücksangebot lohnt sich. Für Einkäufe ist der Mietwagen schon ein Muss; es gibt Mini-Märkte vor Ort, aber eben auch mit entsprechend hohen Preisen. Aber ohne Mietwagen sitzt man sowieso fest. Wir waren Ende September im Urlaub. Da ist in Ligaria nicht mehr viel los, die Menge an Tagesurlaubern ist überschaubar. Daher haben auch die Lokale ihre Öffnungszeiten schon eingeschränkt. Wir sind nicht verhungert, aber das sollte man außerhalb der Hauptsaison beachten. Nikolaus und seine Familie sind tolle Gastgeber. Er war immer erreichbar und hat sich sofort um Probleme (es waren auch eher “Problemchen”) gekümmert. Die Ferienwohnung ist zwar schön, hier gibt es aber auch noch Potential nach oben: Die Einrichtung ist spärlich, im Zimmer mit Doppelbett haben wir zum Beispiel einen zweiten Nachttisch sehr vermisst, vor allem aber zeigt sich das in der Küche. Selbst für eine Ferienwohnung war die Ausstattung sehr knapp. Das Badezimmer ist für griechische Verhältnisse schon sehr groß, allerdings fiel uns hier die Abnutzung am meisten auf. Das kleine Glasbausteinfenster öffnet sich in einen Carport, die Belüftung funktioniert so nicht. Es ist schwierig, die Dusche ohne Überschwemmung zu nutzen. So war die Luft im Bad bei vier Erwachsenen in der Wohnung immer unangenehm feucht. Vor allem war die Wohnung aber sehr sauber, das war uns viel wichtiger! Dennoch ist die Wohnung auf jeden Fall schön und eine Reise wert, mit einem neuen Bad und mehr Küchenutensilien wäre sie dann perfekt.

Хозяин внимательный и заботливый . в прошлом году они построили второй этаж. из номеров видно море . заплатите чуть побольше за 2 этаж и будете наслаждаться видом на море , попивая утренний кофе на своём балконе . уже скучаю . и обязательно вернусь !

Amazing location right on beach – just a few steps from the door to the water. Lovely clean beach with sunbeds and umbrellas (€7 a set). Very spacious and clean. Very responsive host. Easy drive from Heraklion airport. Handy distance to Knossos and Heraklion museum. A few restaurants within a 2 minute walk from the door. We parked at the free carpark at the end of the beach and walked along the seafront to the apartment – only about 200m so very easy and less stressful than in the narrow streets.

We were an extended family of eighteen with three generations ages 9months to 72 years and all had a fabulous time. Maria was an excellent host responding quickly to any questions or requests. The villa had amazing views and spectacular sunsets and sunrises. Everyone enjoyed the pool and the surrounding grass made a great play area for the younger members. It was not too far to the local beaches and bars, although we used a car, bit far to walk with children and hot sun. We self catered for the majority of the holiday and found a lovely shop in Agia Pelagia for all our needs and they were so helpful. Heraklion airport was easily accessible by taxi, transfer and car – only about 20 minutes. All in all a superb holiday in an amazing place.

I don’t think you could find a better location in Ligaria – this apartment is pretty much right in the middle of the beautiful bay, open the gate and you’re on the beach. There’s a nice selection of restaurants along the front, all really friendly with great food. The sea is stunning and clear and its worth a walk up the rock on the left (as you look at the sea) where the Greek flag is flying – its the best spot to watch the sunrise and doesn’t take long to get there at all (even though it looks far when you’re lying on the beach!). Hier ein paar Details: LAGE (Entfernung): Die Villa befindet sich ca. 20 Minuten und 20 Kilometer vom Flughafen Heraklion und auch von der Innenstadt entfernt. Das ist wirklich optimal, da wir a) schnell vor Ort waren und zwischendurch auch mal in die Stadt gefahren sind. Maria hat hierzu sehr gute Tipps und Vorschläge für Tanz, Gastronomie und Shopping. Auch wenn der Abschied schwer fällt … der Flughafen ist dann auch kurz und schmerzlos in 20 Minuten erreichbar. Ein Taxi zur Villa kostet ca. 30 – 35 Euro. Einen Mietwagen findet man bereits ab 20€ am Tag direkt am Flughafen. LAGE (Erlebnis): Es ist wirklich magisch. Die Fotos können den Ausblick und das Panorama vor Ort kaum beschreiben. Wer schon einmal auf Santorin war, hat möglicherweise eine Idee, was ich damit beschreiben möchte. Es gibt möglicherweise keine bessere Stelle auf diesem Inselabschnitt, um eine Villa zu bauen. Den Strand kann man von der Villa aus sehen und befindet sich ca. 5 Minuten (Auto) entfernt und kann auch fußläufig in ca. 15 Minuten erreicht werden (Agia Pelagia und Ligaria). In Agia Pelagia gibt es direkt ab Strand mehrere Restaurants, von denen die meisten Fischtavernen sind (frisch gefangener Fisch. Wir haben uns zwei Mal für das Restaurant “Alchimist” entschieden, da er viele kretanische Köstlichkeiten auf Tapas Art serviert. In Ligaria gibt es nur 2 – 3 Restaurants, die sich direkt am Strand befinden. Dafür gibt es hier einen wunderschönen Strand mit vielen Liegen und einem tollen Ausblick. AUSSTATTUNG HAUS: Es ist alles da! Eine moderne große Küche und mehrere Bäder auf jeder Etage. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und modern eingerichtet. Ein sehr großes Wohnzimmer und eine wunderschöne Hauptterrasse war für uns der Mittelpunkt des Geschehens, wir haben hier gegessen, getrunken und unserer Lieblingslieder über die große Bluetooth Anlage angehört. Es gibt auch noch weitere Terrassen auf den oberen Etagen und im Untergeschoss. Darüber hinaus gibt es noch ein Nebengebäude mit zwei weiteren Doppelzimmer und einer eigenen Küche. Dort befindet sich auch eine aufwendig aus Stein gebaute “Feuerstelle” (Grill und Steinofen). ZIMMER: Wenn ich es richtig gezählt habe, gibt es insgesamt 10 Doppel- und ein Einzelzimmer mit gleicher Ausstattung. Besonders hervorzugeben ist das große Zimmer im Untergeschoss, mit einer eigenen Terrasse und direktem Zugang zum Pool. Ich könnte noch viel zur Villa Ourania schreiben. Ich fasse es aber so zusammen: Man muss es vor Ort erleben, um meine Begeisterung nachvollziehen zu können!

We spent a week at Villa Ourania as a family group of 13 including children. The villa is amazing. The view from the pool area is breathtaking and we spent many evenings watching the sunset. The villa is well equipped with many different eating areas to dine. Maria the owner was extremely attentive for any queries we had. We pre booked the private chef one evening who cooked a traditional Cretan meal for us. We would thoroughly recommend this – outstanding value and delicious food. I rented this Villa with 19 friends during my Erasmus stay in Heraklion. We had an amazing time, the Villa is huge and has everything you need from a pizza oven to a pool. There was even a second House behind the Villa with more bedrooms and an additional Kitchen. Also there is alot of Olive Trees around the house itself on the property which gives an additional touch to it. The landlady was super friendly and helped us with all our needs. Last but not least the view from the Villa is really special. I can recommend this Villa for everybody!

One thing to note: it’s a pebble beach and there are big stones as you enter the sea but you can buy special swimming slippers in a local shop 2min away from the apartment. So, we preferred breakfast at our terrace overlooking the beach and just got a take away coffee and fresh orange juice for just €3 literally next door – fantastic!
I was worried about places to eat, but Sirocco and Anatolē were absolutely amazing for traditional food – we went to Santorini after Crete, and no restaurants could beat theirs. Also, great omelette for breakfast at ‘Ligaria restaurant’ – big portions and gorgeous view. We also went to ‘Mythos’ on Agia Pelagia beach 10min away by taxi and it was great. The restaurant was great, but the Agia Pelagia itself despite being a sandy beach seemed much more crowded and less pretty than Ligaria. So we were triple glad we stayed at Green Apartment in Lygaria.
The apartment itself was wonderful – everything we needed, and the terrace that has direct gate to the garden and beach – truly fantastic. Also, we had a 3 year old with us, and were so lucky there were toys for her and even a mini playground with a slide and swings. I would highly recommend this

Excellent location of the house in relation to the beach. The villa stands on the very shore, to go to the beach, you just need to cross a small lawn in front of the house and that’s it – you are on the beach. I really liked the presence of this very lawn, on which 2-3 small and one tall palm trees grow and there are free sunbeds (on the beach 2 sunbeds with a fungus cost 7 euros per day). In the shade of these palm trees, you can relax on sunbeds, or you can sunbathe in the sun. Another plus is that there is a shower on the lawn, so if you sunbathe near the house, when you leave the sea, you can use it, and not a shower on the beach. I really liked the attitude of the host to the guests. We never saw her herself, but any requests and problems that arose were resolved very quickly thanks to correspondence in Whatsapp.

Plenty of nice restaurants and a small supermarket with all the essentials very close by. Beautiful villa and a fantastic owner… couldn’t have asked for more. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Impeccably clean, superb views (especially sunset) and perfect facilities. Would stay again and recommend whole heartedly. You’ll need a car but it’s only a 15 min drive to rethymno. Some great local restaurants and a mini market, pharmacy etc all within 5 mins drive. Superb!

The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. Everything was as described and the place is very clean. Lygaria is a small and charming village with cafes, taverns and mini markets. We would recommend this apartment. Special mention to Andrea who is a kind and generous host. He made the process – from booking to departure – simple and efficient. A small negative point is the music that plays from 10am. to midnight daily at the neighboring bar. Sometimes the incessant noise of the base disturbed the tranquility of the bay

We are a family from Denmark with 2 children aged 10 & 18 and 2 adults. I can say that the apartment looks even better in reality. The balcony is huge, it’s so nice to sit there and enjoy the sea. There is literally like 30 meters from the beach, which is really beautiful with the clearest waters. Most of the people on the beach are Greek, which means they are very friendly to foreigners, funny, helpful and relaxed. There are some good restaurants, I would strongly suggest renting a car. Ask Andreas to rent the space much easier through this and the local support is even better. Best regards, Lars

The appart is very clean and bright and it’s provided with everything for comfortable life. The kitchen is equipped enought to cook. Towels and bed linen were changed every 3 day’s. Beautiful beaches of Kastri are very close to the apartment (3-10 minutes on foot). Gabi and her parents are friendly and kind people! Gabi is very helpful and attentive host. She was ready to answer all our questions. Kastri is a small, cozy village, but you can find everything you need: taverns, cafes, supermarkets, fish shop with extremely fresh fish.
Also there is a lovely, calm garden in the courtyard of the apartment where you can read book or just relax in the shadow.
I highly recommend to stay in this appart!

This place is the jewel of the Ligurian beach. We had a wonderful family holiday for a week and loved every moment of it. It’s amazing that you can just walk outside your building and be on the beach! Next door is a great cafe: morning coffee, smoothies and drinks all day and on the other side is a dive center where you can dive for free or rent kayaks… the location is perfect for everyone. Very typical Cretan restaurants along the beach. The host offered us fruits and snacks and was so generous and kind. Definitely a great place to stay! Highly recommended!

A 15 min drive from Rethymno so you will need a car to make the most of the surrounding area. Some great restaurants, mini market, pharmacy etc all within a 5 minute drive.
Would certainly recommend to anyone planning a trip to rethymno and may well book again for a family get together in the future!

We had a great stay at the villa. We were a huge family descending on rhythymos for a wedding and this apartment gave us the greatest base. They even set up the bridal suite with rose petals to welcome the couple. They were very thoughtful with a contact that came every day to check we had no issues. Katerina was so patient also helping us find restaurants etc to feed the whole party outside of the wedding day. The facilities were great and also child friendly. I would recommend a stay at this villa.

We found everything we needed in the house and great assistance from our host George and his family regarding directions and trips around! The apartment is very clean, spacious and well equipped.
It is very comfortable and perfect for up to 4 people (one double bed and 2 single beds).
Apartment offers front terrace heading garden with trees, flowers and shower!
The garden is not big, but very nice and provides shade and sitting, it is shared with 4 equivalent apartments.
There is also possibility to sit in the back part of apartment in shade of the house facing next gardens(clothesline dedicated for every apartment is available here).
The locality is absolutely fantastic (but requires rented car) – there are small beaches available directly in the village (2mins walk) or looong and empty beaches nearby (almost no tourists in mid of September).
A lot of taverns is directly reachable as well (2-10 mins of walk).
Heraklion as well as other interesting places (Gortina, Faistos, Knossos) are 1 hour of driving far from apartment, but really worth to visit.

Fully equipped kitchen, wi fi, bbq, swimming pool, excellent view, 10 mins from town. definately recommended all day long.
I really like the barbeque and the tavern where we enjoyed cooking and having a drink. Using swimming pool and barbeque all included in the price as well.
